Hands down one of the best Caribbean food spots in town! I tried the jerk chicken with rice and peas and a Jamaican beef patty and the food was 11/10. The jerk chicken was perfectly seasoned and had just the right amount of heat. I have a friend who regularly brings back Jamaican beef patties from the island, and I can honestly say the beef patties here were just as good, if not better. Despite being a vendor in a food hall, I am giving my full experience 5 stars, as the chef was so excited for us to try his food, and even came to our table to make sure we enjoyed everything. This type of hospitality is the reason patrons become regulars, and my party really appreciated the personal touch. I highly recommend Caribbean Fire Side Bistro to anyone looking for a delicious meal. I’d love to see this business make it in their own space, and will continue to support them until then and beyond. Great food makes a menu, great people make a restaurant. Very good Jamaican food despite no cabbage and plantains. Portions are decent for the price, I had the jerk chicken with rice and peas and festivals. Will try other options next time. Also the patties are worth a try, fresh from the oven.

I had the curry chicken. Very flavorless and dry with a lot of tiny bones. The rice and peas were ok but the cabbage had some weird sauce on it that leaves residue on your fork. Would not recommend this establishment.

I’ve been looking for a good red velvet cake in the area for awhile. This was a GREAT red velvet cake. Really nice guy at the counter. I’ll have to try their actual food next time, so many good options at grandview but the quality of their dessert made me feel like I missed out by not getting their entree!

I went to this restaurant the other day and when I say they tried us it was ridiculous something told me to check my food but I didn’t so that’s my fault but our food was cold to the touch had a large plate of oxtails but only had 4 oxtails in there the rice was dry no sauce for my boyfriend plate he had the jerk chicken and it was also dry the rice taste like Haitian rice normally he eats everything and we both did not finish it just flavorless I DO NOT RECOMMEND if I could give them a negative star I would -10/10 just HORRIBLE try at your own risk
