Customer service is always great! They have the larger empanadas and they dont run out too early on week days. You can still get one before lunch. They have a large selection to choose from and a menu you can order from if it’s not on the hot bar. I love the various different versions of Dominican spaghetti I’ve tried though out life, but this one is always a little different from the last. But either way it tastes like grandma is in the back making all the family receipts. A little salty sometimes but that could be me following a low sodium life style.

I placed a catering order from this place because the food is delicious. I really enjoy their arroz con gandules and. Some advic w bistec guis time of 5 pm. The day of my event arrived and I went to pick up my food and the cook looked at me and stayed your pickup time is for 5:30. I stated “I asked for a pick up time of 5 pm and my receipt has 5 pm” He looked at me and said “Well I have 5:30”. I said “ok, I’ll return”. I left and returned at 5.30. My food was still not done. And the cook just looked at me and said “ you returned quickly”. I looked at him and said “you stated to return at 5:30, it’s 5:30”. I had to return an hour later and still had to wait for my food. The SERVICE for catered food is HORRIBLE. I asked for my food to be ready an hour before my event and unfortunately had my guests waiting due to their irresponsibility.

First time trying this restaurant thanks to these misleading reviews. This is one of the worst stale poor quality Dominican foods I’ve ever had. Bought food for my and family and I and we all had to throw it away. What kind of taste buds do people have who praise this place? I will not recommend this place at all. My personal grade would be an F.

There’s nothing better than simple, delicious food. The roasted pork is just amazing…tender, perfectly seasoned and seared. The skin…oh mannn…The baked chicken is fall-off-the bone juicy and flavorful. I could eat this everyday with the rice and beans. Can’t wait to go back to try some oxtail soup or pork belly. Love this place!

It’s the only Dominican option within 10 minutes so not much other choice for halfway decent spanish food. However its very hit or miss on the food and very very overpriced for a hot plate type of place. And $4 for a 2 liter soda blew my mind.

This place is a disgrace! The food was horrible! Nothing was seasoned, it was bland with no taste! I got the pernil with rice and beans. The rice was hard, the beans were watered down and the pernil had no flavor whatsoever! I also tried the chicken empanada and was still disappointed. All dough and little filling and again, no flavor! How do you have a Dominican restaurant and don’t know how to season your food?!? If you want authentic food, go to Torres Minimarket in Centereach, their pernil is out of this world delicious!
