This is probably one of my least favorite caribous I’ve visited. It’s very disorganized and the batista actively refused to use the drink stickers causing a lot of confusion. We were there waiting for just over 15 minutes and saw several drinks just sitting up on the counter and no one knew what was what so she had to keep reopening cups and telling people what drinks were. And when someone asked if the sticker printer was broken she said “at this location we just call out the drinks.” I also watched a different barista make 2 different drinks with an empty vanilla pump rather than replacing it so I asked to have a different flavor in my latte because I wanted syrup.

Standard Caribou Coffee, well positioned in the touristy area of Duluth. Not a large space, but it does have a nice sitting area with a mix of different tables and chairs. Our coffee came out quickly and the staff were pleasant.

Ok, we get it. Staffing issues happen. But when you arrive at 6:08 am because you couldn’t sleep well last night in the hotel and you saw the night before that the coffee place opens at 6 am, but when you arrive and a new sign says that due to staffing issues Caribou will not open until 6:30, the disappointment is major.
