My wife and I were in the Poconos for a couple of days and decided to stop here before getting back on the highway. Best decision I made! The food is so authentic and so delicious it was amazing. I got the ox tail which came with rice and peas, cabbage and plantains. Everything was so delicious and tender, also got 2 beef patties which were flaky and delicious. This place ranks with some of the best Jamaican food out there, kudos to the chef! PS I tried to call to tell them how good it was but they had closed already. Ty !

Great variety and tasty food, plenty of vegan options, polite service, quick response time. Highly recommend, I wish they were in NY.

This was so good I had to turn off my car and go back in to tell them! Firstly, it’s very clean and a very nice atmosphere. Secondly, as someone with a carribean background, it is hard to find good authentic carribean food at times in a place that isn’t a city, and this is authentic! The food was incredible, fresh AND there are vegan options. I ordered the vegan pepper steak and the roti and the plate is so big I have enough for tomorrow. Mind you, I feel very full and fulfilled. The food was seasoned well and worth every penny. The service was great and the man and woman I spoke to were so nice! Do yourselves a favor and stop by because you will NOT be disappointed!

Went and got curry chicken and beef Patties both were great with the Pattie’s being some of the best I’ve had (soft while still flaky while maintaining good flavor on all levels) the chicken was priced fairly for how much food is given with a large and it was also filling.

Best fall off the bone jerk chicken I’ve ever had, serious… I was dead after she asked “do you want oxtail sauce on that”… Oh hell yeah I do!!! Never knew you could even get it like that. It was amazing!!!

They never have beef Patties available and the prices are just ridiculous. The food is good tho but some foods are close to $10-$15 more than most other authentic West Indian places. Go somewhere else if you can help it. Not to mention, their menu is always changing and they never have all that’s advertised

Ok so all those saying this place is fake are just angry because of a bad experience. Second it’s a locally owned shop who does by the way except credit card payment not just cash. Third the menu thing a pet peeve of mine but some items went up because they are expensive to purchase not because of who you are. They buy locally so if the price goes up in the grocery store guess what the menu price will go up too. The price of the food is listed inside right by the showcase for those who want to know. You have 2 options medium and large except for when you want oxtails there is only one size. Now the food is a blend of the Caribbean not just one spot in particular. You will get Jamaica the West Indies etc… If you can handle spicy food this place is for you. The food is delicious so if you’re feeling curry stop by. I always enjoy my meal from here!

Most definitely the best Caribbean food you’re going to get up here in this part of PA. The atmosphere is nice and there is seating for small groups. Food is fast, flavorful and can even accompany vegan and vegetarian diets. You can even pick up some authentic Caribbean bottled drinks. Love this spot, will most definitely recommend especially the beef patties.
