The reason why I’m giving Carlitos Barbecue Taqueria 1 star review because the male chashier at the register was rude. I was waiting in the to order my food when he called the lady who was behind me first, tha was totally wrong. He also made a comment to them letting them know that he wanted to take their order first than me because they were there first which wasn’t true. Hey sir( cashier) I again i was next on line to order food There!!! Thanks to your bad and wrong service. Carlitos B T gets a bad review of 1 star

Always love this place and hard to resist if I am anywhere near the mall. All the tacos are delicious. My personal favorites are the flavorful brisket, crispy fried fish, and deliciously sweet plantain. But other family members love the birria and the chicken tacos as well as the brisket platter. The beef is from Creekstone Farms, a big high end restaurant supplier and also Halal certified. Always get things “con todo” (all the toppings). Corn is sweet and juicy and delicious with the cheese and chili powder. Guacamole is super fresh. Chips are good thick with great crunch. And the fresh hot churros are delicious- perfectly crunchy on the outside and delicious chocolate filling inside. I do miss the the homemade hibiscus and tamarind drinks but they stopped making those with Covid. They sell bottled drinks and homemade juices.

As a vegetarian, I loved this restaurant! They do 3/$10 of basic soft tacos (fish/chicken/pork etc) or 3/$11.50 for more elaborate quesotacos. I tried two of the sweet plantain tacos which were so unique and delicious (highly recommend trying these, they’re sweet with a hint of spice from the sauce and salt from the cheese), and one of the limited Portobello mushroom tacos which was also fantastic.

First time dinning in and I enjoyed it!! I usually would only grab chips when I used to work next door but today I grabbed birria tacos and I’m in love!! I grabbed some cilantro and avocado sauce along with cilantro to add to my cheesy taco!! Customer service was spectacular!! Loved everyone!
