Carlito’s in Huntington Beach is a great new Mexican restaurant option either to order for take-out or to dine in. You will meet the sweetest lady behind the counter who works so hard to ensure all customers are happy and loving their food! The inside dining area has a diner feel to it, and it is very clean and welcoming. There is quite an extensive menu of items to choose from, with breakfast options served all day. Horrible customer service. I love their tacos. Ordered six tacos, onion rings, french fries and two side orders of chips and salsa. They charge $4.25 per side of chips and salsa. My bill was $45. They gave two bags of salsa and no salsa.

We’re from out of town and stopped here for breakfast based on good Yelp reviews. We weren’t disappointed. First of all, all employees were super warm and helpful, helping us with recommendations. We split a plate of green chilaquiles and they were delicious. It’s counter service and they bring your meal to you at your table. Tables were clean. Just a good experience all around.

I tried Carlito’s for the first time and it was authentic Mexican food! They have Posole and it’s really good! Tacos are crispy and not overly oily. Their beef and their beans and rice are on point. Plenty of chips and salsa Rojo and Verde. I’ll go back for sure.
