Local hidden gem. It’s been here forever. Really good Jamaican spot, authentic. This is more of a take out place, but there are a couple of seats. If you want service and crazy decor, this is not your place, just really good food. I work in the area and go when I can. Stew chicken, stew beef, curry chicken, jerk chicken, jerk pork, and Patties are what I go too for now and recommend… Might I suggest parking on the adjacent street, hard to back in and out of the store front, especially if you have a truck.

Today was my first time here, I got jerk chicken, the jerk seasoning was really good the taste was authentic the chicken was NOT dry nice, the cabbage was nice good flavor, potatoe salad really good. The wait was a little long BUT it was worth the wait the cook put a lot of love in this food.

After finally entering this hole in the box BBQ joint, I was immediately intrigued. The homespun energy was evident, and the Jamaican vibe , completely authentic. Looking at the menus, I realized there was not exactly what I craved, so the chef improvised. She whipped up a chopped pork dinner with tons of rice, cabbage , an a nice hi t of BBQ sauce. She rung me up at just over $12 for this huge pile of home goodness.

I placed an order for pickup on a Friday night and as usual was not disappointed. This is my favorite Jamaican restaurant in the area and they always provide high quality food. I got a jerk chicken and jerk pork and the food was ready in 15min. I was able to park right outside and the food was freshly being removed from the grill. Both meats were juicy and not at all dry. The gravy over the rice really makes this dish and adds a great level of spice. The added cabbage also provides some good flavor with the savory bites. For the price, about $27, we for a huge amount of food. I’d highly recommend a stop in.

I just order there 30 min ago. I must say this place has the best jerk chicken, rice n peas, & cabbage I’ve ever had. The flavors are amazing. As good as the food was, the service was even better.
