Purchased combo. Fry’s were old. After eating them thought I better take a good look at this sandwich. Bread was hard, smelled stale. Turned around to go back to have one remade. Girl at window tried to act “as if” assuring me food was fresh. I said no thank you to her option to resolve (what keep it? Gross!) She went back to have one made fresh and when I inspected that sandwich to my horror literally the stale one has just been warmed up. Bacon was petrified. And I thought western bacons came with onion rings not “the cook is mad it was sent back and tore up the old pieces of onion rings and threw them on” pieces. It was clear the food was just warmed up so as to shut me up. Most horrible Carls Jr experience ever. If this is the type of people your going to put behind your counters you will be closed by Christmas!

The bathrooms are always dirty, they’re always out of something on the menu, and the kids playground is still closed. The chicken sandwiches are so plain, the ranch is bland, and the fries need more seasoning. They must be short staffed because it took me over 10 minutes to order.

Food was ok. But the service was terrible. I felt sorry for the cashier it must have been her first time working here and there was no one to help her. She did not know what order she was on. She kept getting the wrong bags and calling the wrong order number. And they didn’t have chicken because they forgot to defrost it.

Good food, extended hours, they accept a card, it is clean, it has parking, but they have two problems, the soda machine does not work, nobody tells you until you ask questions after trying and they fill your glass in another machine behind the counter, the soda tastes like tap water, the worst, is the terrible attitude of the night staff, they do not greet you, if you ask for something extra, for example dressing, they look bad, even a girl rolled her eyes, for the treatment and bad attention, I decided never to return

2/20/23 10:30 am: Stopped in on the way back to San Diego from Phoenix. Ladies room needed serious attention; won’t go into details. Burger was good but fries tasted like the oil hadn’t been changed in awhile. The color was even darker than usual. We didn’t eat them being afraid to get an upset stomach. Will go elsewhere on our next stop through Yuma again.

The business in Fortuna Foothills sucks big-time! Counter person ripped me off and never seemed to have the time to make it right! If this is the way Carl’s trains staff, then I will NEVER darken their door again! The register is not programmed correctly and overcharges me by several dollars! Never did get the correct amount back!! She just didn’t seem to care. Part of the problem is they are very short staffed. In my opinion, each customer is being overcharged mainly because I think they are using the higher Yuma city tax and this one is BIT in Yuma City!!!!! Needs investigated!!!!!
