This Carl’s Jr building is a rebuild of the previous location that was burned down following a grease fire. The food is pretty darn good. I have had no complaints with their meals. In terms of build, the new building is nice and new. Their drive-thru however, seems like it was designed by someone that does not understand Arizona sunshine or heat. The sun beats directly on their electronic order menu, which prevents you from even being able to see or read it. And there is no shade guard to protect yourself or the screen from the sun. When you drive around to the window, there is no shade to prevent sun or eventual monsoon rain from hitting you. I feel like this was a poor design decision by the architects.

The store itself is super freshly remodeled! I can remember a time when I was much younger, 5 or 6 years ago and this location was kind of a wreck So I am glad CrlsJ. Corp. Fixed one of their rocking stores. Food was excellent, staff even more so. Of course. You get way you pay for in Fast food. Much more expensive. Okay, the rating slammer point? I legitimately felt unsafe in the area. Homelessness and desperation is not a Carl’s Jr. Problem, it’s a societal / socioeconomic one. So not on the company. But nonetheless, it’s rampant here. But. I saw an act of unprompted kindness from a gentleman inside opposite me that I will never forget. A fit and healthy patron without hesitation, offered his man course sandwich to one of the homeless men rummaging through trash indoors. (Yes, inside. Thats what I’m saying) Either way, humanity can turn things around I am sure. Not that that has anything to do with a Carl’s Jr. Review!

The food I got was good. They were out of two of the items I went there for. Since one of the items was the soda I wanted they let me substitute a milkshake so that was nice. While I was eating an employee was mopping the floors while things were slow. That was fine until she was doing it in my area and the strong smell of the cleaner was overwhelming. I had to leave before I was finished eating because the smell lingered after she had moved on. Usually I have a good experience with this restaurant but normally use the drive thru and they’re not typically out of what I want.

Since the rebuild and reopening, the food has been some of the best Carls Jr. I have had anywhere! My Breakfast Burger was delicious, and I will make a point to go here for that specific order! Thank you for a good start to my day!

I go to Carl’s Jr every other day for breakfast and at first this newly opened one didn’t have the grill cheese breakfast sandwich when they first opened so I was bummed but went today and they had it so I asked if they had 2 for 5 and they did so great. I requested the bacon one 2 of them and a large hash brown and the said special is only for sausage one lol I have went to every one of there restaurants in town and Eloy and phx and have gotten the special everything except for this new one and Valencia. I think it’s stupid and won’t return here. Everything is expensive now days and if I have to pay over 10 dollars for one breakfast at fast food I should just go to dennys or something. I like the special cause I eat half and eat the other half the next day and makes my total 5 dollars per day. So congress Ina Eloy and phx it is. To bad cause this one is right by my house. Staff isn’t very friendly either Like before the fire. Lady says it is different owner than the rest. I assume they own Valencia to.

This Carl’s is new. Mew equipment, new everything. Friendly people. The previous Carl’s at this same location had caught fire and was torn down. It was nice to have a chicken sandwich that wasn’t over cooked and the Angus burgers were good.

Brand new building. It is about 1/3 smaller than the old building that was destroyed by fire. Food was great. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The downsides is price and drink size. California based company going to charge too much and make the drinks smaller. Great location for a great burger.
