Overpriced (bad for my budget) and artery-clogging. I have to admit the Western Bacon Cheeseburger was delish, even when shelling out $7.87 incl. tax. Unlike some other “arch”-enemy chains, this burger was pretty hefty for the price. Drive-thru was a little slow, but my sandwich was fresh and piping hot.

The food is quite good, and the interior is super clean, but I’m leaving this review because — sneakily — and without even a note on the credit card reader of an added credit card fee of $1 per transaction – this Carl’s Jr. wants to offset their fees paid to Visa / MasterCard by charging the consumer a fee – which would be fine if there was a notice and/or verbal communication from the employee when a credit card is used. I think the worst part of it is that on the receipt, it doesn’t show the fee, but after logging into to my credit card online, there’s the $1 charge — clear as day!! Completely maddening. I’m tired of restaurants doing this. Restaurant owners: Stop doing things like this!! Especially with big restaurant chains. It destroys its long-lasting reputation and comes across as stingy and cheap.

The San Dimas Wicker ‘Witch’ mis-manages this location during the day. She is easy to spot (looks like Bill Paxton but dressed as a ‘woman’) as she always has her hair pulled back TIGHT and has a gap-tooth ‘fake’ smile she puts on to fool you into spending $$$.
