The food and service is a hit or miss. Sometimes the staff will have a positive attitude or it would be the “here for a pay check.” I understand food service isn’t where its all at, but a genuine experience is expected. Think if you, your family, or friends were the customer.

We were looking for a place to dine in at night since we were 45 mins away from home. I called this location which we were near to see what time they closed their dining area. It was 9:30 and the woman who answered said, “We’re almost closed, at 10pm.” So we rushed over to get a quick bite. We show up to the doors at 9:40 and the doors are locked. I get a gentleman’s attention and he opens the door. He says they are closed for the night and I let him know I had previously called to ask and they said they closed at 10pm. He insisted they were closed so I said to him that If I could contact their corporate office to confirm that info. He let us in, we ordered. Manager was cleaning both soda machines so they were not in working order for us to use. I used the restroom and when I came out, our order is ready and bagged up to go. The cashier told my kids we had to take our food to go, by this time it was 10-15 minutes before 10. Customer service was horrible. I understand the workers want to go home and the last thing they want to do is to serve people near closing time, but the working hours should be respected and they shouldn’t make the paying customer feel uncomfortable. I wasn’t asking for anything impossible, I just needed to order my food and it was within the supposed business hours. I’m very disappointed with the way they handled this situation and their customer service. If I could choose where to go next time, I wouldn’t choose them again, I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. This incident was on 07/25/23. Owners should be aware that business hours are not being respected by employees.

NOT WORTH THE STOP. This place was dead… Totally not busy at all (not even the drive through). Yet we waited almost 10 minutes with staff walking by and chatting for someone to take our order and then ANOTHER 10 minutes for half warmed breakfast sandwiches! To the point that I went back up to the counter top find out what was going on. And it was the manager that came out to take the order from the back and was very abrupt and unfriendly. We’ll find somewhere else in town from now on.

They told me they ran out of onion rings one time, so I couldn’t get the WBC. The last 3 times I’ve asked for ranch, they always say they don’t have any. At the drive thru, you can literally hear music blasting through the intercom while ordering. But the food is good, when they have it.

You people have no business doing these types of things. Haven’t been here for months. I like Carl’s, but they don’t except EBT. I use EBT whenever I can. Three fast food restaurants that I enjoy allow me to save money. I don’t understand why more fast food restaurants don’t except them.

For some reason a drive-through is no longer a drive-through at Carl’s Junior. They take your order take your money then rudely tell you to go pull out front and wait. Its bad enough having to pay $40 for two combo meals but then have to sit out front waiting. Also you will not get any CondimentsWith your order unless you sit outside and wait while your food gets cold. Apparently the concept of drive- thru escapes them. They have lost a customer.

Horrible service. Asked for no cheese (allergies) on my dauggters hamburger. They put cheese on it. Took it back in to get it corrected and they were being rude and covered the whole burger and bun with ketchup. Salvador, the General manager and Madison the shift manager(the one who took my order) didn’t seem to care at all much. Order was taken inside at 5:16p.m. waited 13 minutes. I’m going full Karen on this one. $15 per hour and this is what happens…. only in California.
