I like the Famous Star and the Western Bacon Cheese Burger. But this time I tried a new sandwich “the big hamburger” because it was on sale. I didn’t like the hamburger at all. Also, Carl Jr sales kind of feels like used car sale tactics of ” Bait and Switch”. First of all the price is always “something 99 cent” like 7.99 or 5.99. But they make the 99 cent part so small, it is almost microscopic if you are driving by. And then your food is always missing something or you need an upgrade. Like either the fries are super small or missing cheese or something. And for the upgrade you typically have to pay another dollar or so. As result, when I think I am getting a “special” I end up paying regular price. And then I regret why I didn’t find a Mcdonald near by. No “bait and switch” at McDonald’s. The only thing is that going Mcdonald too often gets tiring too.

I never knew there was such a thing as a dry bacon western cheeseburger. It was really sad. I haven’t ordered from Carl’s. Jr. in a while so I am not sure if the issue is with this location or the chain as a whole…but I remember the bacon western cheeseburger would have more then two small onion rings that I had to peel the hamburger patty off the bun to find. They were stingy with the bbq sauce, I had to take a sip of my soda with every bite to avoid choking. I order onion rings and at least they were piping hot, but it had a bitter aftertaste because the oil they are frying in needs to be changed. I guess I know why there was only one car in the drive thru during lunch hour.

I went to go order food, a good few minutes ago give or take, and the person on the cash register was a real piece of work, hid his displeasure of me and my order very poorly and while giving me my condiments while next to another worker, trying to be sneaky or not, I can’t tell gave a less than enthusiastic gesture, this entire time mind you I wasn’t being unreasonable or hostile, he just decides to give me attitude for no reason. I probably won’t be coming back to this location anytime soon, the only good compliment I can give was that the food was at least good
