I went there for an ill friend in a local convalescent hospital. I needed a simple hamburger with meat ,bun, and mustard only. The counterperson was both honest and helpful, leading me to the least expensive way to do this. I felt the sincerity of effort on her part. Terrible customer service, The burger was cold. The cheese wasn’t even melted. I tried to return it and got a big runaround Worst experience ever.. the associate was rude. Didn’t do anything to try to make it better did not offer me another choice or to make me a burger that was at least warm or hot. There were people behind me that were upset. I was only asking for a refund because I did not want to eat cold food. She told me to hurry up and get out of the way so other customers could come I will never ever come to this establishment again!

The worst carls jr in monterey. Southwest chicken was just awful. Had only sliver of pepper. Service was awful. Soda machine only giving carbonated water and staff could care less. Went into restroom and it was filthy. I just left… Never to return
