I ordered a Jalapeño Burger. I have ordered this in the past at a different Carls. Let me tell you. The Burger smelled really bad!!! It wasn’t the sauce or the jalapeño. But the meat! The juice of the meat went through the paper and onto my hand. My hand smelled really bad! Had a bad Oder! Before that I was only able to take 1 bit! And I was done! This is disgusting! I had to wash my hands 2xs with soap and I could still smell the odor. Carls Jrs this is just awful!

This has gotta be about the 5th time that I’ve shown up an hour before close and no one answers at the intercom. I just saw 3 employees inside and not a single one of them were doing anything. Two young guys and a woman. This place is pretty disappointing if you’re hungry and want to actually get food during a restaurants hours of operation.

Went around 10pm on a Weds night. Ordered a couple burgers. Angus guac bacon burger was good, albeit they didn’t make it a double as requested. Overall, all the burgers were good, criss cut fries were refried and tasted like burnt oil. Staff was nice and quick with order.

Went here last night & woke up with food poisoning. Sick & recovering right now. Threw up a few moments ago. I’m angry that I paid for food ( which I didn’t finish ) that made me miss work due to overwhelming nausea & body aches. As of right now I’m not able to eat due to my conditions for who knows how long all because of the food here. My girlfriend bought a hamburger and it fell apart as soon as she bit into it. She went to the counter to ask if she could have another one and the woman employee said no you already bit into it. I thought that was very rude of her. This Carl’s Jr. is located in the San Jose Market Center. I don’t think we will be going back to this place anymore. First of all the employee was rude when they got our order incorrect we ordered fried zucchini and they gave us a large fries they said “You didnt say that” When we clearly did say zucchini. No need to be disrespectful to customers then they charged us a dollar extra for a chocolate cake for no reason and we didnt order a chocolate cake. Never coming here again. Poor service. The worst and slowest fast food ive ever experienced.

The worst Carl’s Jr I’ve been quality wise. Beyond meat famous star was horrible. Our burgers where burned and all three of us had nausea in the night. My kid had some kind of allergic reaction as well.

I don’t know what’s changed at Carl’s JR in the past year or two, but the food has really gone downhill. It used to be one of my favorite fast food burgers. I’ve always loved the Western and double Western burgers, Guacamole Burger, Famous Star. The last 3 visits I’ve ended up throwing them away after a few bites. They just don’t taste good anymore but I can’t put my finger on why. Only thing I can think of is they’ve changed where they source there beef or something? But having said that, I’ve also always been a big fan of the Sante Fe Chicken Sandwich, and I had that on my last visit and it sucked too, and only ate half since I was starving before throwing the rest away. I haven’t been a big fan of their sides since they got rid of the crinkle cut fries ages ago. But they seem worse as well. I’ve even tried multiple locations thinking maybe it was just the 2 locations by my house, but just as bad elsewhere. Service is still fine. They’ve always been one of the most expensive of the chains but the burgers have always been worth it, at least until recently. Not when they are not even worth finishing (which I can’t say I’ve ever done anywhere before). Unfortunately they are out of the rotation for the foreseeable future.
