First time I ordered food from here and I am in love. Real crab meat in the pepper Jack crab soup, seasoned to perfection. Everything is seasoned well, homeade, and delicious. I got myself soup and salad with a Rueben and it’s a nice portion for a good price. The kids loved their food cheeseburgers, chicken tenders and fries. My kids are very picky and is definitely approved by them as well. We love the Carlton.

Food was very good but the speed of service was extremely slow. At first there was only 1 person seating, taking orders, cleaning empty tables. We had a group of 8 and although she was alone, took all other orders from patrons before ours. Then we waited over another half hour to get our food. I hope it’s gotten better. The poor girl was really working so hard before help came in.

My waitress wasn’t friendly or welcoming. My eggs, hash, coffe and toast were fine but half of my home fries were under cooked. It also took 25 minutes to get my food with only four other guests before me.

This is the 2nd time we have been there. And received food that should not have been brought out.. My daughter’s toast was black and served that way. My cheese had oozed all out of my omelet and my omelet was brown from the cheese. The same thing happened the last time I ordered an omelet. IDK what’s going on but they should address it. I understand busy & would prefer to wait longer initially then wait for you to remake part of my food while the rest gets cold.

it was Valentine’s day morning, & this was our first time there, but we didn’t feel welcomed. the waitresses were not very friendly with us. not to mention we waited over 45 minutes for our food and all we ordered was fried things. we were never told sorry for the delay or given any explanation. not sure if we’ll return any time soon based on the service alone. had they been friendly, it wouldn’t have been an issue at all!
