Great independent restaurant. The food is excellent. Their pasta salad is the best I have ever tasted. I can’t get enough of it. There are always great lunch specials. Multiple homemade pies are made fresh every day. SO GOOD! Do yourself a favor and have lunch here. I do every time I’m in the area. It’s 3 hours from home, so I don’t get the treat as often as I would like.

Friendly staff. Owner came out of the kitchen and welcomed his clientele. He has a great gift, a real magnetism with people and his cooking is magnificent. I only wish they would stay open longer than 3:00 p.m. due to day shifters not being able to have the experience. Extra delicious food. They have the BLOOMING ONION! I’ve missed it. You always had to drive out of town for it! So delicious!

On Mondays, they have the best liver onions I’ve had in a long time. The Mashed potatoes are great and the brown gravy is awesome. And they’re green beans feel like dirt fresh out of the garden. I’m really don’t know about any of their other foods. Because I’m hooked on the level on.
