Stopped by for a second time for pizza while biking the wolf creek bike path. Pizza and appetizers were served quickly and were excellent. I was reluctant to try this place due to the negative reviews, but I didn’t have any of those negative experiences. I’ll definitely be coming back.

As an Italian from Upstate New York where pizza is AMAZING this is my favorite Ohio pizza store! The pizza is very comparable to New York style. Awesome calzones and lasagna too! Very friendly staff. We have been going for years and our kids love it as well.

More than excellent. My husband and i did a bike ride for his birthday and we stopped at Carmela’s for lunch. Perfect. We will be back soon, very soon. Like tomorrow and next week 🙂 The food is flavored perfect. Everyone was wonderful. You have to try Tammy’s sweet tea. OMG IT’S GOOD

Very good food and service. Well worth the money, not that it was expensive at all. The cook went out of his way to make my grandmother some coffee, which they don’t have on the menu he had his own that he brought from home. And the pizza was some of the best I have had in a long time, even my husband the Food Nazi was happy.

Called in an delivery and they asked for both my phone number and address. They said it would be 45-60 minutes. An hour and a half later still no pizza. We called and asked what the hold up was and they said they tried to deliver it but they didn’t have the correct address or a phone number to call. They offered a $5 discount and said they would send it out again but we would have to wait another 30 minutes. Needless to say we cancelled and will never order from here again since it’s not the first time.

Everytime I order here, something gets messed up. Mainly an easy to follow direction. Can I have my pizza cut in squares PLEASE! I have 4 kids eating one pizza that’s cut into 6 prices because…THEY DON’T FOLLOW DIRECTION! I was also given the wrong pizza and was told, oh we do that all the time! Seriously?? If you order pizza here, don’t ask for anything special. It won’t happen.

Visited west manchester. 1st time eith carmelas. Pickup order. I showed up about 5 min early. Staff was pleasant and courteous. Said pizza was done and calzone would just be a few minutes. No employee returned to window until brought my order 25 minutes later. Inside dining wasn early empty and only Apologized for delay but just shrugged her shoulders when i asked why the delay. Did offer me a drink as i was putting car in gear. Pizza had good flavor but calzone was average.

This was the best local pizza you could find. It’s so sad to see them go. It was a lot better than Sarah’s and a lot less greasy. They even had wings, subs, and salads – a huge variety the other places never had.

Our experience was awful!! We used to eat at Carmela’s at least 2 times a month…. our last visit we had to wait over an hour for our food… our nachos were Stale!!! the food wasnt all that good and the place was filthy!!! the guys that were supposed to be cooking were running in and out of the back door… the floor in the kitchen was so greasy that the waitress had to slide her feet so she wouldnt fall.. We will not go back again!!
