Server took out drink order and appetizers. Said he would be right back with our tea. 10 minutes later I had to ask the hostess if we could get out drinks. She came right back with them and the server showed up right after that with the appetizers. He took our food order and left. 20 minutes later he showed up with our food. I had ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and my wife ordered a small pepperoni pizza with extra pepperoni. What we got was a medium pepperoni pizza no extra pepperoni and a gluten free crust and a plate of spaghetti with so much water in the plate the marinara wouldn’t stick to the meatballs or the pasta. Getting our bill was just as hard as getting our order. We have been here several times before. The service has always been slow but the food was always fantastic. My suggestion is you save your time and go somewhere else

Our waiter was amazing and was super helpful during our dinner. Food was delicious, and it was clean inside. We were a bit nervous going there since the restaurant is next to a has station. Don’t let that stop you from enjoying Carmela’s! You won’t be disappointed!

We went to Carmelas on Tuesday night. Several friends had said their food was very good and it did not disappoint! We started with the complementary focaccia bread and herb infused olive oil, but we made sure not to fill up because the menu offerings sounded great. We were sharing a dish and couldn’t decide, so we settled on the Italian Trio, consisting of cheese ravioli, lasagna, and chicken Parmesan. There was plenty of food for both of us and each dish was excellent. The marinara sauce was superb and plentiful. (I hate it when a restaurant skimps on the marinara.) Service was friendly and prompt. The prices were surprisingly low for what we received. We added a bottle of Rocca del Macie Chianti Classico for a perfect dinner.

Service was great. They did a half and half pizza for us with different sauces. The pizza was delicious, although pepperoni was not added to the Margherita half of the pizza as requested. Staff was very friendly and personable. (Photo was not taken at Carmela’s)

Had a great experience at Carmela’s for a family birthday party. The food across the board was excellent and the staff was wonderful. We are vegetarian and they made sure any adjustments to the dishes were done to perfection (and that meant the food was all fresh!).
