DELICIOUS!!!! We used Karla and Jeremy’s catering service (Carmelitas Catering) for our wedding last February and have been looking forward to the debut of their restaurant! Once again they nailed it! Our food was excellent and the service was stellar! Our Gorditas and Torta (both with carne asada) blew us away! The rice had so much flavor and the beans were rich, way better than any place I have tried! The corn tortillas from my Gorditas were so fresh and soft and the bread on the Torta was so fluffy! The salsas were very tasty, too! The Chile de arbol was spicy enough to keep you on your toes, the avocado tomatillo was smooth and creamy, and the salsa verde was tangy and bright! They even surprised us with a scrumptious piece of Tres Leches cake to celebrate our anniversary! We will definitely be regulars here!

Amazing food!!! Karla and Jeremy have a warm, inviting space where they serve fresh Mexican dishes. I had rolled tacos and horchata. The tacos were crisp and not greasy. The beans were a perfect amount of creamy. They had a ton of gluten free options.

Carmelita’s rolled tacos are FANTASTIC! They taste homemade! The crunch is perfect, the meat is amazing and the guac is delicious!! And I love this avocado salsa and the horchata is probably the best I’ve ever had! This San Diego county girl approves!!!
