It’s my first time here, I’ve been to the one in Alamo and San Juan and pretty much the same good service and food. The only thing I really don’t like and its minor is the cold sauce that comes with the chips. Hot food deserves warm hot sauce. I’ll be back

They say you can tell the authenticity of. Mexican restaurant by the taste of their charro beans and their Mexican (not Spanish) rice. Well, the cuisine served at Carmelita’s is as authentic as it gets! Taking after their father’s Edinburg location, this daughter knows what she is doing! The fideo principio was excellent. The fajitas were perfectly seasoned and not overcooked. Did I mention the rice and beans!?! The flour tortillas are not homemade, but overall you really don’t notice because of the flavor of the food. Definitely worth visiting!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile. Excellent friendly customer service, food was great and the price was cheap. Definetly going back . Oh the place is clean and smelled good ,that in itself to me says alot !!! I don’t like dirty atmosphere esp public bathrooms .

Waiters need training to be attentively observing their guests’ body language and table’s status to promptly attend them anticipating their needs. For instance, if they pour down all their drink, go offer them more. If they move aside a dish, ask them if it could be removed. If it looks like they are ready to leave, go ask if they want the ticket, etc.
