Very nice dinner with friends, the waitress (Kate) greeted us promptly and discussed specials and took our drink orders. The beverages arrived after a short wait. After discussing some dining options, we placed our order and received our meals within a very reasonable wait time. Each of us agreed we would definitely return and recommend it to our friends. Total bill with beverages was around $60 for the three of us.

At the base of Granite Peak, Carmelo’s was an unexpected delight. We chose it based on location but would go out of our way to return. Hostess went out of her way for us. Bartender was great… the Old Fashioned was tasty, not overpowering. Waitress was personable and patient. Food was FANTASTIC! Daughter had fettuccine alfredo and liked it so much she ate the whole plate…she NEVER does that. I had the traditional ravioli = spinach and veal. It came out as a serving of three = more than plenty. The ravioli pasta was more al dente than anticipated, but that turned out to be perfect. On top of that it was reasonably priced!

We made reservations here for our anniversary. They had nice views of Rib Mountain however we couldn’t see any from where we were seated. Food was okay but could’ve used more seasoning. Overall for the price per meal we expected a little higher quality.

My man surprised me by taking me here for our 3 year anniversary. The staff is wonderful. They surprised us with a free piece of cake after our meal. That was such a sweet and unexpected gesture. Proves to me that they care about their customers. Plus the food was outstanding.

While I found the food to be adequate, I’m aware of poor treatment of the staff by management resulting in staff turnover. I’ve witnessed some of this at the bar. Management needs to be aware that customers see this and it affects whether we come back again.

This was our first visit. Seating, ordering and arrival of our first drink were slow. Took probably about 35 – 40 minutes. But our waitress was very nice and the rest of the evening she made sure we had a nice dinner and even a free dessert (chocolate cake) for my birthday. Once we ordered, the food came out quickly and was delicious! We will definitely dine at Carmelo’s again.

The igloo experience was absolutely worth it! So charming! There are heaters and an electric fireplace and you look up at the ski hill. If you get too warm, open the door or turn the heater down. The servers were awesome! Yummy garlic bread.

Came for my birthday. Got a table without a reservation! Had a nice salad and cottage cheese to start. The 3 pieces of garlic bread I ate were so good. Had sauteed scallops with fettuccine alfredo on the side for my entree. The scallops taste good, but weren’t very big. The fettuccine alfredo was great except for it being cold. Ordered a Pepsi to wash it down, soda gun needs to be cleaned or something, it was terrible. Overall I had a wonderful dinner.
