The tacos were visually appealing, with fresh-looking ingredients and a generous portion of steak. However, the taste was a bit disappointing. The steak was cooked well, but it was bland and lacked any seasoning. The other ingredients were also somewhat bland, and the overall flavor of the tacos was underwhelming.

I feel like the biggest fool for not trying Carmen’s sooner. The food is amazing and the service is especially friendly which is a big deal in my opinion, next to the quality of the food. My server was a beautiful lady named Damariz, and she was attentive and friendly. I definitely will be returning to dine again soon. The happy hour specials was exactly what I liked, and the food is fresh and flavorful, and the prices are reasonable. (Edit) the music is a variety of different artists which is refreshing.

First time here in a long time. The service was absolutely amazing. The waitress I had was kind, polite, and happy to assistance and offer suggestions. I had 4 tacos both steak and pastor… Absolutely amazing. Love the multiple varieties of salsa especially the spicy. Very tasty. I am sure I’ll be back.

Everything was fantastic! The staff, the food, the music. We sat on the patio and a lot of places you end up shouting because the music is louder outside. Not here. I got grilled fish tacos and they were perfect. My friend got some kind of coconut milk shrimp tacos that were quite possibly the best thing we’ve ever eaten. I WILL be having that next time. They were extremely busy, but our waitress was attentive and friendly. This is probably going to become my regular stop whenever I’m in Murfreesboro.

Great place if you are born in the U.S. but like to venture out and try more authentic Mexican without going to the trailers (which are generally great too). Wonderful gorditas, sopas, and various dishes you won’t find in the “Speedy Gonzalez” lunch places. The meats (barbacoa, el pastor, etc) appear to be cooked in-house. They serve breakfast all day, which includes eggs and chorizo and other items you won’t find at the local “Mexican” chains that will remain nameless. We drive from Smyrna to eat here. Definitely recommended. Oh and the staff are friendly and the place is clean. They have live music on certain nights, but I am not a huge fan of it.

We went for lunch and I had the Mexican style beef burrito. It was a good portion size for lunch and included a soft drink. The salsa was watery with no flavor. We a the skinny Margarita and that was also not very good. The service was very good.
