My wife is half Mexican, so while driving by she said stop there right now. I don’t speak Spanish but everyone was polite the music was nice the store was clean if a bit cluttered, and the food in the adjoining buffet restaurant was good a little spicy but good. There’s also a butcher shop at the back of the store for cuts of meat. I can vouch it’s not bad I would come back if I lived here. Not to mention my wife loved her food and bought a cake she left pleased.

If you are not from the area and you are looking for Mexican groceries such as produce , meat canned food, seasonings and more go here! Please don’t waste your time going to other stores because they are completely empty and their meat looks old. The meat here looks nice and fresh. I came to SC for vacation but wanted a home cooked meal and this store had everything I needed after going to 5 other stores. The butcher was nice cutting and selling meat the way he did, as he said they usually don’t sell the meat that way. I highly recommend, price wise it was a bit pricy but worth it.

Don’t really like the pan dulce it is always hard and almost rancid and they still have it on the shelf to sale DONT BUY BREAD FROM HERE.. they need to remove that old bread from there. Everytime we go get some bread (in Hope’s its fresh bread) it’s a disappointment that it’s bad…… other than that this is a good place to buy other products.

Love the buffet, you never know what will be on it. I’ve had tripe, beef, rellanosn, homemade tortillas. Delicious.

Most authentic Mexican food I’ve ever had in the United States! This place has an extremely affordable lunch buffet. They get busy with laborers eating lunch, so don’t expect a swept floor, ambience or a hot looking performer singing latin music.

This is real Mexican food. They bake the breads, Carnitas on the weekends. The store has everything you need to make traditional Mexican dishes. Butcher in the back. Prices are reasonable. This place reminds me of back home. The people are so nice every time we go.

My fiancé and I love to go here on the weekends when they serve homemade carnitas and chicharones. Their housemade salsas and sauces are a great pair to the carnitas when we go home and make tacos or burritos with it for dinner. Everyone is really nice here and there is a variety of ingredients, cheeses, meats, produce, sauces, canned goods, desserts, etc available at this store. We will definitely always make this one of our favorite go to places.
