This is a market specialized for Latino. You can get a plate lunch but it’s also a shopping market. If you like authentic Latino food you hit the jackpot walking in this door. Brush up on your Spanish only found one person that worked there that speaks English. Very friendly staff. Great experience I will return.

Good food. Not as good as Taqueria Rubio, but when the Green Truck is closed, they are my go to. Good tacos, friendly staff. You may have to find someone who speaks English because a lot of Guatemalans work in the back, as well as Southern Mexicans. Their English isn’t very good, but I can speak some Spanish so I’m ok with it. God bless you all!

I intended to dine in out of curiosity, but I was so intrigued with the store I decided to grocery shop. This hidden gem hosts freshly cut meat, fresh fruit and vegetables, and as typical grocery items. In search of boots? Carnecería Valdez has those too.

I grew up eating authentic Mexican food. This place gets an excellent approval from me. Everything is fresh . They have an awesome condiments bar with your favorite salsas. I had the beef tongue and chicken tacos (asked for cheese to be added) and a steak quesadilla meal (includes beans, rice and guacamole salad). Everything was yummy and was even goid the following day warmed up. I recommend buying a bottle of guacamole salsa in the store to also have as a dipping option, adds great flavor. Everything was super cheap as well.

This review is based on the young lady who took our order. I am not sure if she just couldn’t understand or just that clueless. We tried to explain multiple times what we wanted. 3 of the tacos needed to be meat and cheese ONLY. When they came out there was onion and cilantro as well. While that is common on street tacos we specifically asked for only meat and cheese. These were for my son. I asked for them to be remade and she proceeds to tell me we would have to BUY 3 more. At no establishment do they make you pay for their mistake. We had continued trouble trying to communicate with her. Finally I was just frustrated enough we bought 3 more so my son could eat. Then when we attempted to check out she didn’t know the difference between a bottle and can of soft drink. We had 1 each and she kept trying to charge for 2 bottles which was $1.50 more. Another lady came out and literally had to go get the drinks we had and show them to her. There was no language barrier as my wife speaks Spanish and was communicating with her. This is not who should be behind the counter taking orders. Simply because of this poor service we won’t consider this place again.
