I randomly took my friend here for lunch, not knowing how it’ll go… I was a bit nervous but everything came out delicious! We both ordered the plate with rice, beans, taco, enchilada and a sope . It was sooooo yummy! We also ordered an additional taco and asada fries on the side. It definitely filled us up and we also had left overs that was enough for another meal. The price has increased but it’s worth it for the quality/taste! I’ve continued going to this place ever since.

This is my favorite meat counter in Merced. Everything is so fresh and clean and the service is excellent …Very friendly and attentive people. Priced very competitively. I always get the beef taco meat picada de res and they will add onions, cilantro, seasoning and lemon for you right there at the counter. I love this place. Highly Recommend!

Best little gem !! They have amazing food, a meat counter with fresh meat. They offer some awesome meat packages. The guy was really nice said he could freeze things in advance if I had a long drive. Very accommodating and friendly.

This place is great. The meat counter has a small but good selection of meats and meat packages to choose from. They are happy to make substitutions on any meat pack and will even cut custom cuts for me. Prices are comparable to other butchers. It’s also nice to have the kitchen that serves a variety of Mexican dishes for eat in or to go. My favorite from the meat counter is the Flat Iron Steaks (when they have them). I have them cut for me to pick up at a later date.

I love Carniceria Taqueria. Everything is so yummy. My favorite is the chili verd burrito. Some onion and cilantro makes it so super yummy. They are my favorite burrito store in Merced. Give them a try, you’ll like it.
