Seattle, now you know how much I love Mexican food, and this place has made a home in my heart.

You go to the counter to order your food and they bring it to your table. Also you get your own water/condiments from common area so limited service.

The quesabirrias are tasty, and the consome is delicious and not greasy.

The best Authentic Mexican food I have had in Seattle by a long distance. It’s an unassuming place and almost a ‘hole in the wall’ kind of place but in a very good way. Very friendly service and excellent food. The charcoal grilled pork tacos were awesome.

Outstanding. This is what I’ve been missing. Carnitas tacos and shrimp tostadas were DELICIOUS, with beautiful flavoring especially on the shrimp. They were out of all tamales except the pork, which was so-so, but otherwise such a good meal with a great selection of hot sauces as well. Nice people, fast service, and not too tough to find street parking. Will totally be back!

The best Mexican food I have ever had. The Chicken Enchilada was so tender and full of favor. It just melted in my mouth. The friendly service is top notch. Along with clean establishment. This place put the “D” in DELICIOUS. The one critique is the portion size could be a little bigger.

good times
I admit I am not a huge Mexican food lover. Maybe this is authentic Mexican food in my palate has no idea what authentic it’s supposed to taste like. My tacos were a little greasy, and bland. They did just move to this new location from across the street. I’m not giving up on this place, as soon as the grills get broken in I’m sure everything will be fine

Absolutely delicious food, and everything is very reasonably priced. Easily some of the best Mexican food I’ve tried in Seattle, and I’m very excited to come back and try everything on the menu.

So this is a restaurant you need to visit. They have the pre pandemic salsa bar, the first I’ve seen since 2019. I did my standard first time, and ordered tacos with every protein.

True yummy regional Michoacan Mexican food without unneeded posh. Go there and sit, or take out. Now. The true story behind the menu comes from the owner herself. Sadly, I forgot her name, but here’s how it goes. Prior to coming to Seattle, she worked as a cook in a casino. When she moved to Seattle and wanted to open up an authentic regional Mexican restaurant, she asked her two grown sons what should be on the menu. They simply told her to cook all the delicious foods she cooked for them when they were growing up. And so, it is. The menu is a statement of a mother’s love for her family and a tribute to her roots and children who actually work at the restaurant too. And it is a salute to the people and culture of Michoacan, Mexico.
