My wife and I literally drove by Carnitas Quiroga on our way to have breakfast at another restaurant. We quickly did a U-turn and decided to give this restaurant a try. I am glad we did. Our breakfast was huge and delicious and best of all they have nata that my wife is crazy for. Food was great, service was excellent and prices were more or less what we expected. We will be back when in the area.

New place in National city with the best carnitas, chicharrón, chilaquiles ever!! This place is it! Authentic Mexican flavors! Excellent service! They have package deals that come with everything carnitas rice, beans, salsa tortillas for $21!! This place is fairly new so no wait yet for a table but that is probably gonna change soon. They are so friendly and gave us samples of the chicharrón. It was so thin and crispy! Just melts in your mouth! Great place to eat!

I have been here about 10 times. Carnitas is great but they consistently Make burritos smaller and smaller and mess up my order now every single time! Add to it the amount of grease is out of control making the burrito impossible to eat!

It’s a small restaurant with minimal parking, but despite tha minor inconvenience the food is surprisingly delicious. If you like a kick of spiciness to your food their Chile Verde plate is a good choice. Their carnitas plate is just as tasty. I will definitely be returning. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. Service is relatively fast. I recommend people to give it a try for themselves.

We had the carnitas, some chicharon and tacos dorados. Everything was fresh and with good flavor. Taste home made and felt like I was back in Guadalajara eating carnitas. The avocado was fresh. And we got free taste tacos that got me to stay and eat here. Totally worth it.

I walked in and was greeted with welcome! Very polite staff. I ordered a pound of carnitas to go. They asked me if I wanted maxima or surtido Wich means only meat or mixed meat and cueros and buche other good stuff. I said can I get surtido(mix) to my surprise when I got home only had cuerpos and buche no meat . It was supposed to be 50/50 but I guess. That’s my only complaint. But food is good and tasty

Only getting two stars because the carnitas are really good. i ordered the pork in green sauce. the sauce was green! like atomic green!! brights as hell! not much flavor. the beans had no seasoning i mean nothing! no nion flavor no garlic flavor no salt. it was bad. the rice was decent. it tasted kike overcooked mexican rice! only three tortillas for my meal. the pork was pork belly. normally i welcome it but none of that fat was rendered so it was not very apetizing. the wait……. wow!! we waited about 45 minutes to get our food. i also ordered the tripe tacos!! probably the worst of all!! it was not cooked properlyà the tripe needs to be well toasted not soggy and with all the inside flavors! this place is better if the stick to just carnitas. very dissapointed.

Best service ever! Me and my coworkers came to the city for couple of weeks and found this place and it has been the best!!! The young lady at the front it’s really really nice! And they always give you a taco at the begging to try the carnitas, wich are really good! There’s not even 1 thing that I didn’t like about this place!

Initially I was going to buy something next door but this place smelled amazing, my surprise was when the owner gave me a free carnitas tacos as a courtesy!! OMG best taco I have tried in a while… As mexican, I had been in Quiroga and I can tell you this place is bringing the flavor and authenticity of this place (famous for its way to make carnitas).
