As soon as i walked in it gave me a bad vibe, place looks dirty, and to my surprise they have an “A” rating. Carnitas were so dry. Rice was dry and had no flavor, beans had no salt, no flavor at all! There was an old lady serving the food, she had no gloves, cutting board was dirty and I had to ask for everything, she wasn’t friendly at all. Cashier girl was eating her lunch right next to the register. When I was about to pay, older lady told her to charge me for every single item. $24 for 2 lbs, $8 for 12 tortillas, small rice and beans container $8, salsa $6 plus tax = $49

been going to them for years since i lived in tustin i would go to their first location in santa ana and was very happy when they finally opened locally big fan of the mixed carnitas and their chicharon! best carnitas also family owned business so you know the taste is always going to be delicious!

Very good carnitas. Only problem is they take a long time. I had a to go order for 11 and I didn’t receive the food to almost 11:30. Another problem was in order for them to sell me some tortillas I had to buy 2 lbs of meat, I also wanted to pay for another dozen but they couldn’t even do that. They even sell you the onions, cilantro, and lemon. Usually other places they give them to you.

First time I went here it was awesome, 2nd time was horrible, got it home and found all fat and skin in what was suppose to be a pound of meat didn’t even have enough meat for two tacos. I noticed when I was waiting for my order the girl behind the counter was making two orders mine and another gentleman’s, I’m white and the other guy in Hispanic I saw here pack his and it looked great. Can’t help but feel like she did it on purpose to me because I’m white. If it was like 50/ 50 on the meat I would let it slide and not think another thing about it , but it looked like she took all the stuff that nobody would want to eat and shoved it in a pack for me.

The lady serving the food had a runny nose that completely disgusted me. The lady with her had attitude, the food was good though, but they also took too long. I also ordered carnitas to go and asked for onion and cilantro and some lemon to go and they charged me $2 WHO THE HE’LL CHARGES FOR THAT??!! they also charge $2 for debit

Some accurately listed hours would be nice!! Woke up craving menudo and decided to try this place. Waited 30 mins outside for the place to open at “8am” as listed here. 8 came and and nothing. Had to ask a lady who works there, who was also waiting outside, at what time they open. She wasn’t sure either. Finally someone came out saying it opens at 8:30am. So don’t believe the hours listed online. They don’t even have hours on their front door so there’s no way to know.
