We were like grown kids at the carnival. Big menu, lots to choose from and we ordered like 1/2 the menu! Omg! Everything was spectacular!! Lauren & Areiona we’re the most pleasant and helpful. We Ashe’s them to surprise us with the toppings on our cotton candy burrito, they out did themselves and it was fantastic! Hoping to make it a stop on our way back through to Michigan! Thank you for everything!!!

This was our first visit to Carnival Eats. The chili cheese dog, corn dogs and everything else we purchased here were very good tasting and above average portion sizes. The employees are very helpful and polite. The location is a little small but that is what take home containers are for

I was driving through Wednesday (8/10) and looking for something different to eat when I found this restaurant. This restaurant was was different- in a really great way! I was looking over the menu but couldn’t figure out what to order when the pretty young girl with gauges happened to walk by and struck up a conversation with me. She asked me a couple questions and then recommended a burger. When it arrived, I thought it was delicious. Uniquely good food and really friendly service. I will be back soon.

Best milkshakes in South Charleston! If you haven’t had a milkshake from here you’re missing out.

My mother had been looking forward to trying this place for a very long time. We were able to make it there today, and we got two corn dogs and one order of fried Oreos. The corn dogs were burnt. They also were basically just giant hot dogs with just a little bit of the “corn” part. Not what I would expect from a carnival. The fried oreos were okay, but didn’t have much taste. Also, they were a little chewy. Very disappointing visit after anticipating how good this place would be.

first visit was today…. 4 out of the 5 items we tried to order we were told they were out of. we ended up getting two corns dogs, 1 onion ring and one order of mushrooms, for drinks a bubble tea and and soda. the corn dogs were undercooked and the batter was still very wet and dog was cold. the onion rings were really good but 8 rings for 4.99, total rip off. mushrooms were good but again way over priced at 5.99. the bubble tea was just odd…. i order peach and received something in the middle of peach and butterscotch…. not good at all. the dr pepper that was ordered for 2.25 came in a 6 maybe 8 oz child sized styrofoam cup…. $29.38 total….. i wanted to like this place…. but my first visit will be my last. for the prices they charge i expect better…… and not to have so many items out of stock.

The space is small but the staff were super friendly. The food was pretty much what you should expect from the name of the place, carnival/fair food. My gf had the philly and I had a pork bbq w/slaw. Excellent. We also shared these big soft pretzel things and she got a funnel cake to go. It’s not cheap…but it’s good. We’ll be back.

I was excited to try this place, but I was very disappointed. I ordered a corn dog. It wasn’t a normal one. Instead they use the large wieners, and the coating started falling off after the first bite. The food was so greasy I was sick the rest of the evening. I understand carnival food IS greasy, but this was way in excess. In addition, although I was the only customer in the store at the time, no server came to ask if everything was okay or if they could refill my drink. I will give them a second chance because I really want to try the funnel cake. Hopefully, my visit was an off day because I’ve heard others say they love it there!
