Came here on the recommendation of locals, was absolutely NOT disappointed! Fantastic pulled pork and all of the sides were everything I could ask for regarding southern comfort food fare. The hash was something I’d never tried but it was outstanding here! Thanks Carolina Bar-B-Que for a memorable experience!

Showed up at 5 till closing on a Wednesday I get it. It was 5 till closing. But I only wanted togo order ot hash and rice only. Well I was told we are closed eventhough the time clearly says 1:30 not 1:25. Not to mention there are literally 12 ppl eating still in dining room. Well if that’s the service I’ll go to Shane’s from now on.

First time at take out and the customers were so friendly and helpful and the workers and cooks are so darn awesome. The food was amazing. I especially loved the buttery taste in the hush puppies. The mild sauce for the BBQ pork was outstanding, not too spicy yet brought out the pork meat taste.

The BBQ is good, I always ask for the spicy(medium) sauce because the mild has no flavor whatsoever..the Mac and cheese is not cheesy and no flavor..the yams are good..fried squash is sometimes too greasy but it’s good.. The hush puppies and the peach cobbler are GREAT!! The customer service is wonderful very friendly people.

After reading so many glowing reviews, I was excited to have some good Carolina bbq. We scooped some food from the buffet onto our plates even though it all looked kind of old. The reviews kept me going. I tasted each thing, pushed my plate away, and we left. The bbq pork was okay, I guess, but the hush puppies were gummy, okra was somehow both soggy and dry, the Mac n cheese tasted like moist cardboard, and the hash was gloopy and sour. It was, in short, wildly disappointing and actually kind of gross. I can’t imagine why some of these reviews are good.

This was the absolute worse dining experience ever we came 10 people deep and the food was not fresh chicken was old and dry the only thing fresh was fried okra and squash. Not seasoning on greens chicken hash or chopped pork. The drinks had no sugar and the desserts weren’t even favorable with the kids.

Easily some of the best barbecue you can get in the CSRA. Worth the drive! I have been coming here for about 10 years and the quality has remained pretty consistent. Pork and chicken are the proteins here.

So glad they survived Covid! Have dined many times over the few years and have always enjoyed the all you can eat BBQ, especially for the price. Sometimes the pork can be a little dry but just put it into the stew. Beans are always a good side. Looking forward to my next visit.

3 stars. Only because the BBQ was good. Mac and cheese was disgusting, literally would not feed it to my dog. Pork skins were greasey and heavy. Hush puppies were ok,not bad not great. The take out area is extremely out of date and dirty. I would no eat here again.

Barbecue is great. But everything else like collard greens. Sweet potatoes seem too be from a can. Slaw is tough. Hushpuppies are good. Does not compare anyway too dukes Barbecue!
