For the price of the food I would expect better quality food, these are just 2 of the 8 dishes we ordered. We had family in town and decided that we would give this place a shot since it had a 4 star rating, from the start the staff seemed unsure of what to do with our party ( I guess 8 and a baby wasn’t a normal thing for this establishment) that took me by surprise considering the dining room was relatively empty. When one of our party members asked what type of beer they had the server responded with “a lot” when we asked if they had a menu to show what type of beer they had all he had to say was no. While the food wasn’t the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had it looked way better than it tasted, for the sirloin dinner the steak was ok at best and was barely warm, the fries were good but like most of this meal were cold, Mac and cheese was disgusting had a sour aftertaste and yet again was cold(who can mess up Macaroni and cheese) for the catfish dinner, the catfish was actually hot but the only part that had flavor was the edges with the center being mushy and bland, the fried okra was pretty good and out of all of the food listed above the sweet potato fries were the best served at a good temperature and with just the right amount of salt. Overall with all things combined we will probably not be going back to this establishment, in my opinion cost is to high for the food and service we received.

$10 lunch- 1 piece of fish and 1 side. I think that was a reasonable price. The fish had no flavor, but it was hot and I made it work, doesn’t take much to season fish. Food was good. My partner got a salad with chicken ($10), and it looked delicious, next time I will try. The menu didn’t have enough food options for me. A few good options for lunch, but the dinner menu wasn’t hearty enough. However, I may come back. Because my waitress was new and she was at the table so often I knew I was going to tip her well! Nice quiet place for lunch and can seat many people.

First time eating here would have given it a 5 however it took my to go order about 30 minutes to come out after we had finished eating through it was placed while we was still eating. The food for the most part was good. Steak n cheese egg rolls were over cooked.. Chelsi was amazing very friendly and kind. She’s a keeper.

Take out dinner was very expensive compared to what we received. Apart of my order was cooked to the wrong temperature and the salmon was small for $20.

My wife had been here are a few times and I finally made it here. Good was very very good. I had the sunrise burger and she had chicken and pasta. Burger was good sized and cooked well. Her meal, although lunch portion, was very large-she only ate half. Chicken was moist and seasoned just right. Service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. Zero complaints.

We came here to try for lunch on March 31, 2022. Walking in it was clean and great atmosphere. The server was amazing he was on top of everything. The food was okay. The hamburger steak had a lot of good flavor. The mash potatoes were good with dark gravy. It was missing a roll to complete dish. My daughter got the lunch paste with grilled chicken she said chicken was good but the paste was very bland. But over all I would recommend you come here yourself and try it out. It not bad!

The staff was nice and very attentive. The food sadly was just mediocre, comparable to a Zaxby’s but charging Outback prices. Also, the heat was out when we went; they had plugin heaters which was a nice thought but would not have been enough if there were more than a couple of tables of people. Also, no one told us anything about it when we first arrived or a sign on the door, we figured it out ourselves when it never got warmer than outside.

I’m not sure what happened the night that a group of us went for a dinner meeting. We had reserved the private room and then were kicked out because they decided to put some kind of a game in there. We ended up sitting near the bar area (place was pretty empty). The staff took forever to get us our drinks and over an hour for our food to come out. It was ridiculous. Will not be returning.

We dined in on 11/25/2022 with a party of eight. Our waitress was Paige S. According to our receipt and she didn’t miss a beat. We didn’t have to ask for drink, napkins, etc. She was two steps ahead. We stopped at Carolina Bleu Grille after a family night at lights on the Neuse. Thankful we did! It was our first time and the menu had a massive selection! We’ll definitely have to return! Thanks for such wonderful food and service!!!

I had a great first experience at Carolina Bleu Grille in Clayton, NC. My waitress was the best. The vibe was beautiful and comfortable. I thought it was an expensive place by the way it looked, but the prices were the best I’ve seen in a while. The food was tasty. My friend and I split an appetizer. Then, I got a soda and an entree. My bill came to $19 plus tip. I have no bad things to say about this restaurant. Next time I’ll bring my fiance for a date night.
