It was a Monday and I was able to walk right in and sit at the breakfast bar seating right away. I ordered the Dinermite Country this visit, and it did not disappoint! The gravy is homemade sausage gravy with a ginormous biscuit split in half underneath the heaping serving of gravy. You also get two eggs cooked exactly how you like it, two pieces of bacon, two sausage links, and grits with this meal. I had a glass of sweet tea and the waitress made sure I never ran dry. The service and the food was dinermite!! Everyone who works here is friendly and engaging, you can tell it’s like a little family. If you haven’t had a good meal here, you’re certainly missing out!

I just walked out of this place. I sat there and waited. Never received service. Waitresses hud in kitchen. They saw me and hid. When I spoke up they came with a cup of coffee. Behind me three white customers walked in and were taken care of immediately. Which goes to say this is not a business for people if color.

Ordered Bologna from here, along with other breakfast items. Which I’ve ordered multiple of times. However, this experience did it for me. The bologna was asked to be cooked well done. The first time the bologna was cooked. It was served just as the picture below. I asked for it to be recooked. It was recooked again and placed in the bag. When I got back to work. I opened the box, to what appeared to be basically the same bologna I had the first time. This bologna looks like it was deep fried. And recooked as a “rush order” to get me out of the restaurant. I also had $30 worth of other food. That unfortunately got cold while waiting for the bologna to be recooked. The staff is very nice & friendly. However, the manager David is not friendly. He did refund me for the bologna after I had to ask. However, be real…who would eat this? This should’ve never even been handed to me.

Our family came here for dinner, and had a very average experience. The prices are very reasonable. But the quality of the food is average at best and the portions are just enough. Our server was friendly, but several entrees came out incorrect and they were slow to fix them. For families or large groups, keep in mind they can’t seat more than four people together here. I would recommend Carolinas for folks looking for a simple, affordable meal, in a slow paced atmosphere.

Omg. My friend lives in greensboro so once a week I go and we try a new place. THIS WAS AWESOME. I will be a regular now. It is family owned and the staff was so friendly. IMPORTANT to me is our drink glass was never empty , and as busy as they were food was hot and delicious on the table in less than 10 minutes.

I don’t even know where to start… this place… ughhhh this place is literally amazing!!! I got beef tips with rice, chicken noodle soup and fried apples and my wife got chicken strips with hot chips, potato salad and pickle chips. Everything was over the top good. Service was excellent. I have been to many.. MANY diners all over Nc and this one is amazing! Thank you

The food came out in a mannerly time, however my server was quite unprofessional. As a server myself, professionalism is a major key. Friendly personality, even as a mask, is possibly the most important. I did not feel welcome. His demeanor made me feel as if i was the last person he wanted to see, and yet i do not know him. He brought me my bill as i was still eating, yet i did not ask for it. In which the refill he brought with the bill was the only time he checked on me. I had to ask a separate server for a box, however he overheard, and brought one unnecessarily larger than needed. And as he returned my payment, not even a “thank you” or “have a good day”. Just dropped it on the table and walked away. I will not be returning to this location.
