Bugs on the walls next to table while your eating they climb everywhere. Everyone is super sweet but food is nothing special anyone can make these foods at home plus they look messy. This location definitely needs remodeling.

The service was terrible. I was picking up an order for work and I went to the counter and was ignored by 3 people for about 5 minutes. The 2 orders that came before me were wrong for other customers. They were disorganized and it showed 100 percent. The order I picked up should have been ready but it took about 25 minutes. This was after I had the notification to pick up the order and it took me 10 minutes to get there. Then I asked if the order was ready, told no, when it was and then the food ended up being cold. I don’t think they were placing the orders in the order the orders were coming in. Plus I had to ask for the sauce 3 times after I asked for the sauce to be in my clients bag the first time. Will not pick up orders from there again. I feel bad for my customer and anyone who had the wrong order and who had to wait for an excessive amount of time while not being acknowledged. I’d say at least 5 plus people were frustrated. And also with no apology to any of the customers.

Every single time I order online from this place I end up checking in when I get there, and then they NEVER call me when my food is ready. Whenever I finally go check the status, they say it’s ready and has been ready for who-knows how long. And they always forget my chips, like they did today, the chips I paid for. Today when this happened I told the lady that I had checked in 20 minutes ago, why didn’t they call my name when it was ready?! She gave a terrible response, saying they didn’t mark me as “here”. That’s not my problem, that’s on you guys. I did my part, including paying you $50+ for my family’s food. Call my name as soon as my foods ready so it’s not sweating while I’m waiting for you. No one wants a soggy sweaty chimichanga.

I’ve had everyone of their burritos, and to be honest there wasn’t one I didn’t like. My top three are green chili, chicken, and machaca. I love their homemade tortillas. This place is fantastic!

I love this place! My food is usually delicious and made perfectly. This time, when we got the food at the counter, the person said that my tamale did have green sauce, and it was under there. I was confused. She then said a newish employee over served the red sauce on my enchilada. Everything was swimming in red sauce, and my tamale was drowned. It was even all over the beans. I tasted nothing but enchilada sauce and didn’t eat my food. In hindsight, I should have taken it back up. I will definitely be back. This didn’t change my opinion of this place, or the normal food, but this meal went straight in the trash. Had she said to look at it, and if it wasn’t acceptable and they’d remake it, I would have happily taken it back up. The enchilada sauce is delicious, but it was SOOO much. My husband’s good was delicious, as usual.

Oh no not my Carolina’s. I have been a customer for decades, since the store on Mojave was the only one. For years you could always depend on Carolina’s for consistent, amazing Mexican food. For the first time ever I find myself unhappy with the quality of my order. I know that right now and since the pandemic finding enough quality employees has been challenging and you aren’t the only ones effected. Please just remember to double check the product leaving your restaurant. Checking with your eyes will not do. I didn’t recognize the beans that I brought home which is usually my favorite part of my meal. Y’all normally have the best beans I’ve ever tasted and for the first time they were forgettable. My dad loves your green chili and can eat medium hot to hot this time he said it was so hot he had a hard time eating it. I would just like to remind managers to taste the food your new hires are putting out. It’s easy to forget, your restaurant is a staple in Phoenix and it’s because of the great taste and even more the consistency that you have always cooked into your recipes, please don’t lose that. I am far from being finished with you as I have faith that this will not be the new normal. Just a reminder from a loyal customer to taste your product from time to time.
