Wow. I love coming to Carollo’s! We visited here for lunch on a recent Saturday and finally tried their hot sandwiches! We ordered the pizza steak and the eggplant sandwich, and we absolutely demolished them. The bread was so fresh and the toppings were just a perfect blend of flavors. We also tried the rice ball, which was also delicious! We also tried the cannoli and lemon cookie when we got home, and those did not last long either! This is always one of my favorite spots to visit when we come to River Market. The staff is very friendly and their offerings are some of the best! 10/10!

Lovely place, everything tasted delicious. The young lady working the desserts counter was rude and unhelpful. Like, it killed her to do her job (assist customers and be polite). The other gentleman was polite and professional.

I ordered a sandwich at the counter. The person who took my order told another person to make it. That person turned around, looked at me, then went back to filling up containers. He never acknowledged me. I stood there for 10 minutes, then left. Terrible service.

We had a cute lunch date here! Cheap fresh food with real ingredients. We got a Philly Cheese Steak, it was deliciously fresh and served on super tasty bread. Definitely a specific Italian taste in it.

Loved exploring this shop. We bought some fresh mozzarella and some imported prosciutto. Amazing! Definitely order the imported, not the domestic. It was incredible. We also picked up some of those amazing apricot cookies they had. Just a wonderful place to go and look around with amazing food.

I want to start out by saying I’ve been going to this location since I was about 4 or 5 years old. It was my dads favorite place to take us as kids. I’ve always had amazing things to say, but over the last year or so that’s definitely changed. It started out as a few messed up orders thru Door dash, which I completely understand, things happen. So I made note to myself to only go in person. The last 2 times I’ve went in person my sandwich has been made incorrectly, which is no big deal, but the response from staff was. I was told that “I ordered wrong” or “When I was a kid we had to eat what was given”. I am literally allergic to tomatoes and I can’t have oil for dietary reason. I come home and put ORGANIC veggies on it. There’s absolutely no reason for staff to belittle someone’s sandwich topping choices; I mean come on. I pay good money for a sandwich that used to be $5.75, I shouldn’t be met with judgement from the employees there. I’m not sure if the owners kids took over, but it’s just sad how little they take pride in customer relations now
