My family of 5 ate here and loved it! We were in the area visiting from Maine and Maine isn’t very kid friendly because it’s the oldest state in the country. We looked in and saw a small diner and thought eh maybe we’ll find somewhere else because we have young kids and we don’t want to bother anyone. We started walking away and the waitress came running out and said “hey you guys looking for somewhere to eat?” We said yes and she said “oh ok we’ll set a table up for you! No problem.” I was already impressed and thought it was such a kind welcoming gesture. Once we sat down my kids found a little kids corner with toys and books, and to our surprise a table of what seemed like regulars were extremely nice and welcoming to our kids. It was an incredible experience coming from cranky old retirement land (Maine) the food was 10/10 I got an omelette with beautifully sauteed vegetables, and the bread was really really good too. I grew up in stoneham and moved to Maine when I was young, this was our first stop in Massachusetts this trip and it had me missing living in Massachusetts right away. We will be back to carol’s everytime we go to Massachusetts 100% and once we move to mass I’ll be there daily. ❤️ Thanks for being so kind and welcoming. Family oriented businesses like this is what our country needs ✌️
