It’s one of the best pizzas I’ve tried! Crust is the first thing that stands out. Crispy edges with a dark undercarriage. It’s very floppy towards the middle but not soggy. Garlic knots are fantastic! Laid back atmosphere. Clean inside and out with super courteous employees. Currently my top Pizza Restaurant in Alabama.

I recently returned to Alabama Adventure amusement park for the first time in nearly 20 years (it was still Visionland back then). When I realized my hotel was a mere 5 minutes away from Carpenetti’s, I knew I had to also revisit them while in the area, as well. Was it just as good as I remembered from all those years ago? Why yes it was…perhaps even better! Still great quality food at a fair price with a staff that takes the time to get the customer’s order right the first time. Try finding that kind of service and quality at one of the big chain pizzerias. Spoiler: You won’t. Glad that Carpenetti’s has been successful in their market and I hope I get the chance to visit again one day.

We had a good experience at Carpenetti’s. I had the Alfredo and my husband had a calzone. The food was good and our server was attentive. We saw lots of people getting pizzas that looked very delicious. We ordered salads that were just okay (needed more toppings). No lemons for the tea and no Caesar dressings. Overall, we had a good experience. We will definitely go back again.

The best pizza around the south for certain. We come 40 miles just to pick up their pizza!! When your from NY you want good pizza here u go!!! They need to open multiple locations and just clean up. Alabama in general is in need of good pizza pie everywhere!!!

Food is good but the service is very lacking. If you dine in make sure you have plenty to drink when they bring you the food because you won’t see the waitress again. I’ve done dine in twice and never got a refill and never got the check. I had to go to the counter and ask for the check so I could pay and leave. Staff is not friendly at all.

Classic pizza with great service and taste. Stop buying Dominos and Papa John’s, and start supporting your local restaurants. This is a great place to start. (be advised, get here early on friday or be prepared to meet a booked out restaurant).

Everything we had was excellent! Garlic knots, mozzarella sticks, side salad, pizza. We will definitely return. A lengthy check out was the only negative….everyone goes to one register….takeouts, inside diners, etc.

In Leeds for business and wanted a calzon. Searched for pizza on Google maps and was lead here. Clean restaurant, they greeted me when I walked in, pleasant staff. My only concern is when I paid, the cashier placed my change on the counter when it was handed to her by me .
