I spent $40.00 on two pizzas and bread sticks to get burnt inedible food. I knew upon looking at the pizza it was overcooked but I tried to be a good sport and taste it. I got a mouth full of burnt crust and toppings. Awful. I have been buying Carpenter’s Pizza for 19 years and have never received a pizza of such low quality. Who check’s for quality assurance here?…or is that not in place any longer? It’s as if they didn’t even check the pizza before sending it. Not only did I wait 2.5 + hours for them to make it right but the second batch wasn’t that much better. We weren’t offered anything for the hassle, refused a refund when we paid with cash and didn’t even get a return of the delivery charge or tip when we drove twice half way to meet the driver. I could have gotten pizza three times over in my city for what I lost with Carpenter’s in this transaction. I could’ve had dinner in less than 20 minutes delivered to my doorstep but I opted for my favorite pizza…willing to pay much more, wait much longer, and drive to meet their driver at the end of their delivery limits. It’s sad to see a childhood favorite decline so far as this pizzeria. Very disappointed. Will no longer spend my money here.

Every time I come to my campsite which is 10 minutes away, I go to Carpenters. Carpenters is my all time favorite pizza place. My family always gets more than 2 pizzas since we have many of our relatives and friends come camping with us. I think anyone who has never had Carpenters should go and get some pizza. They have great salad too.
