We arrived before dinner and it was empty. Everything was hot and fresh and everyone was friendly. Loved the food and atmosphere. We had the ribeye and the coconut shrimp. Both were perfect. Their fries are really good too. Looking forward to going back again.

Found Carr’s Steakhouse while traveling through Mayfield a few years ago. We were impressed then and have made it our go-to place to stop for dinner any time we are in the area. We usually have the prime rib as is has been the special when we have been there. This time we went on a Thursday night and had three of our young adult children with us. All the food was cooked to perfection and the dessert was OH MY GOODNESS!!!! Always recommend Carr’s to anyone who may be in the area!!!!

I’m going to start by saying that we had a party of 8 which the restaurant accommodated (we had made a reservation) without a problem. 8 is a lot of people to try and get food out to at the same time. Also, our waitress told is she was new. We loved the ambience of this restaurant. It’s just a cool building. We did have issues with none of the ordered steaks being cooked as ordered and the side dishes were cold and had to be reheated. For the price I expected better food and that was disappointing. I would we willing to try this restaurant again with maybe less people in our group I guess. I gave 3 stars….

BBQ nachos were spot on. It seems as if Thursday may not be the best day to visit, the “truck’ runs on Friday. No whipped cream for my pie, and at 6 pm I got the last piece in the house. (Yay me for asking for dessert before ordering my entee).

Horrible.. the southern style chicken tenders had no seasoning. The fried pickles were just grease. My husband had shrimp.. it was horrible as well. This place is supposed to be known for their steaks.. Yea right.. after earing other items on the menu, I’d hate to know what their steak is like. Will not return.

Good food, great service. Nice environment and what looks like all new furniture on their fairly large patio. I would suggest stepping up the atmosphere in the bar area though. There were 3 tvs but they either weren’t on or rotating pictures and there was no music. So it seemed really solemn being dead silent in what looks like could be a lively bar area.
