The chef is apparently a little bit naughty, but I think he puts on a very nice tasting. Did the 6 course with wine, and it was good to excellent. Not a perfect dinner (some elements were all smoke, like a cherry that somehow tasted like a forest fire, for example), but they do perform at their price point and put on quite a show culinarily.

An amazing and special experience to occasion. From the outside, Carte Blanche looks unassuming. From their website, one might be a little intimidated by all the disclaimers for allergies, no refunds, qualifying circumstances for rescheduling and having to pay in advance. However, don’t let that stop you from booking! My husband and I dined here for our 5th wedding anniversary and the ambience, the service, the food, the wine, literally everything about Carte Blanche was amazing. They exceeded our expectations. I am NOT a seafood love- I’ve never been. But I decided to be adventurous and try it here. Fish haters BEWARE! Carte Blanche will change your mind about fish. I ate caviar, raw tuna, and smoked halibut with ease, no no, I even enjoyed it!

My daughter and I visited carte blanche for the first time, it was for her birthday and it has been one of the best culinary experiences I have had in my life, attentive and friendly staff, very dedicated to their work. We tasted six course and I hope to try chef’s menu next time.

Incredible experience and food! The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We did the 6 course tasting menu on Saturday evening (note, I believe starting in 2023 that the 4 and 6 course options will only be available on weekdays). We were stuffed by the end of it but my goodness was every bite worth it! They sent us home with a signed copy of the evenings menu and 2 clarified butter croissants which are also incredible. If you can get a reservation for dinner at Carte Blanche, DO IT!

Had the chef tasting menu with wine pairing on a quiet Tuesday night. There were a couple standout items, like the foie gras pictured here, topped with a orange fennel crisp and served with a really fantastic croissant. We had one wine pairing that was not complimentary to the dish it was served with. Great service and comfortable atmosphere. Overall the courses were interesting and tasted good for a fun tasting menu. I may need to go back for pastries which were the highlight for me.
