WOW! I cannot recommend a taco place more than Carter’s Table. It is like a gourmet and affordable version of Torchy’s Tacos down in Texas. The tacos are absolutely bursting with flavors! I highly recommend getting the Taco Flight so you can try 3 varieties. So far the Brisket has been my absolute favorite, but I still need to try some more before cementing it as the best Taco.

I’ve been enjoying Shawn’s tacos ever since coming across his stand at the downtown farmers market. If you didn’t get there right after opening, a line would snake around the corner into Calder Way. The scent of grilled, perfectly seasoned meats would make anyone’s mouth water.

Best tacos we tried in State college. Variation from regular ingredients with delicious spice combinations are the uniqueness of this place. Cajun shrimp is a must try item. Beef taco is super delicious as well.

Carter’s Table is perfect for those who want a variety of delicious tastes to choose from. The staff created a warm and welcoming experience, telling us about each taco and their in-house made hot sauces. Their tacos had great portions and were some of the best I’ve ever had.

Phenomenal lunch!!! The 3 taco flight seemed, initially, a little expensive at $13.95 but it was amazing and worth every penny. I have a hearty appetite and 3 tacos more than filled me up. Delicious flavor combinations! Highly recommended!

So glad there is another taco place in town besides Lupita’s (which I also love)! Food is delicious and I love the corn tortillas! My only suggestion is more vegetarian options. A buffalo cauliflower taco would be a great addition. Their black bean taco is great though! Please never close!!!

Me and my wife came here because we heard about it from a few different people saying how great it was… Carter’s did not disappoint. Exceeded my expectation. The menu is simple, the food is authentic, and the price is affordable. Bonus to Mr. Carter being behind the counter making things happen. His associates were quite helpful, pleasant, and patient as my wife and I were undecided as to what we should get. I’ve been recommending to everyone who asks about what they should eat, and I plan on going back today for lunch myself. Five Stars Easily!!!
