We decided to support our small local business today. Our last visit to Caruso’s was good. This was definitely a mistake. We should have turned around after stepping out of the car in ankle length grass. We passed many restaurants on our way home just to support local because without local business the corporate world could control everything. The menu does note that prices have increased and I do understand that. Upon ordering we were even discussing pricing in front of the lady waiting on us. After ordering we noticed ants on the window. After getting the salad on the table the ants started to gravitate towards the food. The pizza came shortly after. The pizza was good and the ingredients were fresh. I had to get up and wait a while to get a box. She asked me if I was ready and I told her yes mainly because I wasn’t going to sit back with the ants. I was going to inform her about the situation but she was on the phone. While she was ringing up the order. I was looking at the menu to try and figure out why we were being charged $29 for a $17.75 pizza and a $2.99 side salad. She quickly said prices increased and it’s very expensive for us to change menus. I do understand that if prices increase for a business that they do have to pass it on to the customer. I couldn’t understand a almost $10 price difference though. There should at least be some type of menu that the customer could refer to that does have a current price. Since I don’t want to go to a restaurant that I may not know what price I will pay, I’ll take my business elsewhere. At the prices that they are charging now I could have eaten at a much higher class place where I would not have to worry about the ants. I didn’t intend on placing this in the reviews but when you inquire about something you shouldn’t get attitude. We were in the process of paying but couldn’t understand the steep price. Everything was good and the attitude changed when I asked why it was so much different. As I have said in the past I much rather leave a good review but if you are reading my reviews you should know the truth as well.

Wait! Your pizza was good but it’s way to expensive. The prices on the menu is not what she charges when you get to the register, we had a big surprise. Instead of $17.75 for a large supreme it was $22.75, big difference.. for a large pizza, small salad and we drank water. $30.00. I would much rather give a good review but In this case I just can’t. By the way, please spray for the ants crawling on the table & Make it clear that your “PRICES has CHANGED “

Place looks sketchy from the outside. Inside is dingy like it needs you a really good scrubbing, but I think it just really needs a reno. Printed menus have written in barely legible cursive that the prices have increased, but they don’t tell you how much. So you get a big surprise at the register. Prices for calzones are $7.25 on menu, we got 2. And a veg Stromboli for $7.99. Extra toppings should have been $5. No drinks, sides, apps or anything else. Our total (according to menu) should have been $27 + tax. FIFTY dollars. So maybe menus should have said prices have doubled. Anyway, it was really good food, and portion sizes were huge. But toppings should have been more in the calzones, ate 1/2 pieces before we hit cheese. Overall, if prices were lower we’d go back, but probably won’t.

Worst place ever to eat they will serve you burnt food and not fix you pay full price for them to tell you that they will only give you half price after you still had a whole plate of Burnt spaghetti I would never eat here again and the food is awful no sauce and it’s burned I would rate there food a 1

I used to order Caruso’s a lot. Their food is pretty good. I had a call today trying to order some pizza over the phone, and all was good. I then got a call back saying I didn’t have enough, so I added more and told her to try again. Both transactions went through on my end and after calling my bank (at the vendor’s recommendation) I called the vendor back to give her the information. She proceeded to yell at me for the next 7 minutes and shut down anything I was trying to say. Once I got a word in, she would cut me off again. I finally got frustrated and said “Will you let me talk?” To which I was responded with “If you don’t respect me sir, I don’t respect you.”

I ordered 2 12 inch special subs and asked for no mushrooms on one of of them and got all mushrooms on it anyways and the sub hardly had any chicken in it !! I might as well had a mushroom sub with all the mushrooms they put in it ! I’m very dissatisfied!

Server/counter woman was very rude and impatient. The woman snatched the menus we could keep off the table. Place could be updated and cleaned up better. If ya want food from here then i suggest getting delivery not dining in. Ill never be back to dine in. The lady was rude to my family (me, my wife, grandmother, and son). After waiting a hour for our food we walked to the car and got ready to leave. The lady walked to the car and jerked my grandmother’s car door open. We gave her $10 for our drinks since we didnt get our food.
