Our food was delicious. Highly recommend stopping here to eat, then walk around a bit before continuing your trip. The views are beautiful and refreshing. There is a large store selling all kinds of fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, and lots of other delicious things. There is a very nice candy store with lots of your candy favorites and many you couldn’t even imagine. I highly recommend stopping by even if you have to go a little out of the way.

Friendly staff and a nice, clean eating area. The produce store next door had a good selection of seasonal fruits and veggies and canned items. It was also kept clean. The candy store across the way was EXCELLENT!

Wow what a meal ! Awesome food and people. A must try if your in this neck of the woods. They are open daily 11am to 5 pm. We had lunch, and have had the breakfast the last time we visited. Plus they have a market you can buy fresh produce, and anything to do with apples.

Great country cooking style food. The view out the large window overlooking the orchard grounds with the mountains in the background is nice as well. The market has a wide selection of fresh apples and vegetables. I found some green tomato relish as well.

Wonderful experience for the whole family! This takes me back to my childhood of going to pick apples in the orchard, eating all the fresh food, and visiting the shop after for all the local goods. There is also a candy shop, which unfortunately was not open at this time. I guess that gives us an easy reason to come back soon!

*Update* Returned with family on 12/21/22. Restaurant wasn’t too busy. I had the chicken and dumplings and the rest of my family had the fried catfish. The dumplings were great and everyone else said the catfish was delicious and not to bother using the tartar sauce – not needed. Also purchased another apple to try from next door. For us at least, the ever crisp apple turned out to be a very tasty choice! Picked up a pack of fried peanuts to try as well – good – taste like roasted peanuts.

We had a delicious Sunday meal at Carver’s. It was our first time but won’t be our last. Our server, Denise, was wonderful. We did not see the Sunday Specials when we arrived so she told us about that. I had the turkey, dressing, gravy, mashed potatoes, pinto beans, roll, ice tea, and coconut cake. My husband had the chicken tenders, green beans, and something else. We both enjoyed ourselves and our meal. Denise kept check on us. There were several large groups – both families and church friends having a meal together. We didn’t have to wait to be seated but if you do, it’s worth the wait. Thank you, Carver’s. Don’t forget to visit their store while there. You need to allow 2 hrs at this property, includes eating and shopping.
