This was my first time at carry knight spot and it will be my last. I ordered a Franks chicken sandwich and some fries and they managed to screw up both. The burger bun was super dry like it had been left out for hours. The chicken and cheese was flavorless an subpar. The fries were salted so excessively they were barely edible. The fountain drink was honestly the best part of the meal. My order at $14 wasn’t awfully expensive but at that price I could’ve gotten a much better meal at Chick-fil-A or Jimmy Jones or any of the fast food places on campus.

I went to this place strictly because of how close it is but I will no longer spend money here, the food is decent but the service is pretty bad. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had burning hot grease leak from the food onto my hands and clothes due to how poorly the burgers are wrapped. On my last venture there, I got charged for food I didn’t order and somebody on staff made it seem like they added money back to my card; the worker even made it seem like everything was taken care of and I asked him just to be sure. I just checked my account balance and realized that I was charged nearly seven more dollars for my order and the worker lied to me; I have now swore off the place permanently. If you go here, be careful of what they charge you for otherwise you might get taken for a ride like me.

The employees are nice and friendly and in general the food is good. My biggest complaint is that the shake machine seems to never be working. It is very frustrating, I hope they can either get it replaced or fixed as soon as possible.

Unless you live in Cary and have to waste dining dollars skip this place. Too expensive for what you get, and very often one or more of their services are down or they are out of the item you went there to get. The only way I can recommend this place is for their sub sandwiches but they often run out of bread, or their milkshakes but their machine is down once again as I type this. Skip this place.

Cary Knight Spot is a great place to go for a college student, as it is open all the way until 1am! If you ever need a meal in the dead of night, the Knight Spot is the place to go! Great food for a reasonable price!

ONE THIRD MAYO
Foods are basic. I ordered a BBQ burger and thought it’s BBQ pulled pork, however it’s just a regular burger with some BBQ source. The taste is not bad, but with the same money of a burger here, you can go to the McDonald’s nearby and have a big combo.
