3.5 stars in reality. Only two tables outside with the inside hardly packed even during lunch hour. Service was quick initially when being seated and getting menus for us. The waitress was ok, but very nice. I believe over the course of an hour we were generally checked on once besides the normal original drink and food order and “check” visit which is my only large complaint. Very small thing I didn’t hold against them was not offering water on the side with drinks at all but just know you should ask for it if you would like some. Tacos were pretty good, and the salsa for both the chips and tacos were very nice in my opinion. Margarita for happy hour was ok, but we only tried blended. Beer comes in an icy mug which doesn’t work in favor of beers but I understand it has a large appeal to many people. Decent place overall.

Went there for two people. Only thing I liked about this place was their chips and salsa. It was not busy yet our server only showed up to my table once only to take our order. I had to go find her at the bar where she was talking to the bartender and made me feel like I interrupted them. I also had to get off my seat to go pay at the door. ALL waitresses were no where to be found. I ordered aguachiles (spicy) the girl should’ve mentioned it didn’t come with avocado or tostadas they charged me $5 for a 1/4 of avocado. Actually she didn’t know it didn’t come with avocado because initially she said yes. It wasn’t spicy I had to ask for tapatío and had absolutely no salt. Also they placed cucumbers around the plate with chamoy? Why? Overall worst experience their food is mediocre and the staff service makes everything so much worse.

This establishment is great! The food is fantastic and the drinks are definitely the kind that will get someone very happy. Although they were very short staffed, the service and the food was absolutely fantastic. I forgot what our server’s name was but she was very kind and helpful since it was our first time visiting. I highly recommend coming here for a good time and good food. Plus, they have great oysters.

My shredded beef enchilada was mostly fat, not edible. My cheese enchilada was made with white cheese, disappointing. My order was duplicated, charging me too much. Very disappointed, must find a better Mexican restaurant.

If your in the mood for Mexican cuisine then this is the place you want to visit. Located in the beautiful Palm Desert, location is great adjacent to the 111 highway with lots of available parking. When you enter the restaurant you really feel like you are down south, the music, the decor to the friendly staff. Quickly seated, drink order taken and the generous pile of fresh chips and salsa!

The food is all right, yet the staff is friendly. However, if you want quick service, this is not the place to come. In fact, the time it took to get our food (and the restaurant was not busy) really made our dining experience disappointing. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. To top it off, I ordered a fried beef taco and received a chicken taco instead. They took the chicken one away and about 10+ minutes later I got my beef taco. Unless you only want to eat chips and salsa, I wouldn’t come here. I’ll not come back. That’s too bad because the actual restaurant atmosphere is pretty cool.

The place was clean and the food was good the patio area is also a nice touch in the summer and winter and the bar is well presented. The prices are fair. The customer service is okay. But overall good tasting food and drinks

Good food at a reasonable price. The staff are as attentive and kind as they can be, with them being a little short staffed right now. I had a great experience and will be coming back. I’ve also ordered takeout, it is a breeze and much faster than dining in.
