Our first visit. Arrived on a Friday evening, got right in & seated. Drinks & food came quickly. Guacamole was made right at our table. And they have vegetarian options. Margaritas are good. Staff was great. We’ll be back!

Great gem tucked away in the strip mall off Sunnyside Rd in Happy Valley. In the same mall as New Seasons this place is fabulous! It was busy at the lunch hour and people were raving about the food. Jose was awesome and so incredibly friendly and helpful. Service was fast and food was hot. Chips and salsa were good and the chips kept coming. Didn’t drink as I was working but people seemed happy with their lunchtime margaritas. Prices were good and portions were large. Stop by and say hello to Jose and have a great meal.

First time at this location. Came in during dinner rush on Tuesday. There was a short wait to be seated. Friendly staff. They were very apologetic and gave us advanced notice about the wait time for the food to arrive. Two rounds of complimentary salsa and chips later, sipping on horchata, our food was served. Ordered the deluxe burrito with birria. Delicioso! Love the decor. Thank you, Besy for serving us. Until next time, amigos!

Second time I’ve visited Casa Colima. The atmosphere is always lovely, and the food is to die for. Got the most delicious chicken fajitas, tableside guacamole was so tasty, and the dessert was just incredible. Jose was super friendly, and a joy to have as our server!! Easily the best Mexican food in Happy Valley.

I had a very good experience at this well decorated restaurant. I went after the lunch rush and had a 2 item combination meal. The Cheese Enchilada and the Chile Relleno were both well cooked and tasty. My beans and rice were as well done as any I’ve ever had. The salsa was muy sabroso, although the chips could use some work. The service I received was both friendly and efficient. Since this restaurant is in a strip mall there is plenty of parking.

The reviews made us give it a try. We ate indoors on a very hot day. The interior is VERY colorful with lots of murals and painted tiles. Very spacious but the music was a bit loud for enjoyable dinner conversation. Our server was polite and apologetic because the kitchen was slow that night. The food we ordered was just average; seemed (like many Mexican restaurants) geared for the American palette versus authentic. Nothing we had was a real stand out. We passed on their alcoholic beverages due to price—margaritas start at $14 each.

We’ve eaten here twice and both times were fantastic! The decor is fun and cozy. The employees are so friendly and on the ball. The food, omg the food! We’ve had the made at your table Guacamole, Bacon wrapped shrimp, Carne asada, chicken and shrimp. All delicious! Love the chips and salsa and their house cerveza and tequila is excellent as well as their margaritas. I got the pinapple drink last time. It was so yummy, like a adult slushie. I can’t say enough good about the place. We won’t be going anywhere else when we are craving Mexican.
