This place is a gem! It’s something that Jersey City has never seen! From entering thru a pizzeria and the wall opening and taking you inside the restaurant itself, it turns into another world. You’re greeted by a host who explains to you the concept of the restaurant and answers all questions you may have, to then walking to your table while you’re jamming to some good music. The waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and explained all dishes we had questions about. The food was AMAZING!!!!! The lobster mac & cheese balls, and octopus were to die for!! The presentations are so picture worthy, you don’t even want to eat the food! I ordered one of everything in the menu, that’s how good it was! The drinks were well crafted! I highly suggest the sangria and specialty drinks! Overall I had a pleasant and great experience when I was at Casa De Lobo that I was there again for their Flamenco night! Awesome show, I had pleasure of meeting owner Cesar, who explained to me his idea behind it all. Won’t be my last time there! It was about time something like this came to Jersey City. Job well done Cesar and Casa De Lobo!

I had a horrible time. First of all they say it’s members only. A member of what?? Trashy bars? Second- it is ridiculously overpriced. I ordered oysters and it came with pop rocks and a shot of candy flavored drink. It was DISGUSTING. worst combo of flavors. One had salsa on it… so bad. Like whoever the chef is does not know what he’s doing. We ordered the cauliflower steak – came out burnt. The chicken lollipops, they tasted like greasy bar food. The lobster Mac and cheese – such a strange a and weird way to eat the lobster where we had to crack it ourself. The dj played fun music but it was SO LOUD. Why are we playing extremely loud club music when we all are eating dinner? Everyone is sitting eating and screaming to each other over loud 2000s hip hop. If you want to make this place a club then that makes more sense since the food is AWFUL. Then make it a dance floor. But why are we all eating in the dark with strobing lights and super loud music? Finally, the waitress did not tell us she already had 18% tip in the final bill so we tipped her twice. When we bought it up to her when we realized she didn’t help us and took the money. Not classy at all – like this place. The only thing I liked was that it had a secret entrance.

What the local NJ scene has been missing!! An establishment curated to bring you a grown and sexy ambiance, delicious food, carefully crafted drinks, feel good music, and exclusivity. Me and my girls love this place!! I like the vibe they’ve curated where they’re always bringing you something new, especially for those looking for a fun brunch or dinner party vibe. The decor and overall concept is in a class of its own and I look forward to going back. We love the speakeasy feel with the secret door. It’s definitely worth checking out.

Had the pleasure of being invited to Casa De Lobo last night for the first time for a girls night and we had the best experience. First we were greeted by the owner who is very nice, we were seated by an even nicer waitress and ordered a few apps which we all shared that were so amazing. The music was great and the vibe even better. It was a 10 out of 10 for me and I will definitely be back soon! Thank you to the owner who checked on us numerous times and made sure we had everything we needed!

I went here with my girlfriends and it was a spectacular experience. The joys of finding the spot (we walked around a few times), the staff being so pleasant, the food being so good, the great set from the DJ makes it a place that l will always remember with fond memories. The owner came to chat with us and sent us shrimps on the house. Yeah! I’m definitely going back there.

This place has consistently been great. I went here when it first opened and have been back several times since. I love the speakeasy concept by having to enter through a pizzeria. When you walk in, the decor and ambiance is a whole vibe. Your experience will differ depending on which night you go. Some nights you can enjoy dinner and experience different entertainment. Other nights, you can have dinner and the place transforms into what feels like a nightclub with a DJ, dancers, etc. The first time I went, my guests and I were personally greeted by the owner and felt extremely welcomed. Each time that I have been back, the owner has come by to say hello. I have also seen the owner personally go around greet guests and introduce himself which I think, demonstrates his gratitude and serves as a way to connect with guests while also marketing the business. The servers are also amazing and very attentive. Each server I’ve had has gone above and beyond to make me and my guests feel welcomed. My favorite thing on their menu is the octopus appetizer. The oxtail is also a top contender! The portions are appropriate/generous and match their price point. I’ve tried several other items off their menu and I have not been disappointed. Their craft cocktails are also delicious! Something in the Woods is my favorite! I also appreciate that when my guests ordered more common mixed drinks, like a spicy margarita or old fashioned, that they were not only delicious, but had great balance and were well made. Most of all, I appreciate the consistency in the delivery of quality service, food and drinks each time I go. If you haven’t been yet, you have to check this place out!

This restaurant is one of New Jerseys newest hot spots, we had an amazing time at our event here and the food and the vibes were absolutely incredible. If you’re looking for a new date night spot, or just a place to come have drinks, food and catch an incredible vibe. You have found the place. The appetizers are insane, the entrees are to die for and the dessert you’ll be thinking about for weeks. 10/10
