Thought I had already wrote a review for this place, whoops! Been coming here quite a lot and definitely enjoying most of the menu. Everything tastes elevated, the brunch menu is where it’s at, and the staff are all welcoming and accommodating. Wish the menu was slightly bigger but that’s probably because I’m gluten free and a fair bit of it is pizza. But I love this spot none-the-less!

We checked our casa on a random night. The interior is wonderful and lovely. Very cozy and inviting. I liked the simplicity of the menu. Everything looks amazing. We thought the food and drinks were good. I got the pasta of the day, which was so creamy and luxurious. Pizza was good, kinda reminiscent of sellands. We didn’t realize dinner had a different menu until we ordered. We’ll definitely come back for lunch.

Small restaurant in a repurposed beautiful old house. This is not a Mexican restaurant! Italian inspired with the freshest ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive. We loved the pizzas and all the dishes we ordered. A must do in East Sac!!

I recently had the pleasure of trying the Pops Pizza at Casa East Sac in East Sacramento and it was absolutely fantastic! This pizza is definitely something special – the crust was crispy and chewy in all the right places, and the toppings were generous and flavorful. I loved the combination of the tangy tomato sauce, the gooey melted cheese, and the savory potato.

So usually this restaurant has been awesome, but today was a bummer. We got a new server, and it seemed like she was having an off day. No ice in the water, and she didn’t ask if we wanted any drinks. Honestly those are excusable because they’re such small things. Really what made me write this review is when we received our food – the pancake was super burnt on the bottom so we didn’t eat it and we told our server. She still charged us full price for it. Plus, she didn’t give us a receipt beforehand, just took the pancake away and asked for our card immediately. I’m genuinely not even upset about the pancake being burnt because that’s the first time that’s happened, I’m just more upset at the way it was handled. I hope they sort this out because I really like this place, but today’s experience was just not up to par.

Great atmosphere, staff is beyond charming, and the food is to die for. Especially recommend if you’re gluten free. The Tanya and Vic pizzas are our favorites but everything we’ve had here has been prepared to excellence. We travel from Woodland regularly to eat here. Cannot recommend enough.
