I’ve visited this place multiple times throughout the years and it remains one of the best Mexican place in Kentucky. The food was fresh and authentic. The staff was nice and friendly. The restaurant was clean. We had steak fajitas, and bistec alla Mexican(spicy steak with rice and beans). The portion was generous.

Food wasn’t too awful. Salsa was too strong in tomato juice flavor and tortilla chips were too thick and bland..almost stale. They serve plentiful portions of food for children’s meals as well as entrees. Waiter was not very friendly and seemed annoyed. Decor is aged but quite festive in Mexican culture.

On a visit to the Kentucky Capital, we wanted a close lunch. Casa Fiesta was really really close. When we arrived the outside seating area was covered but you could still sit out on the patio. The outside looks kinda beat up but the inside is a feast for the eyes. They have sweet tea and it’s really good. We got enchiladas and the fajitas texcan. The food was ok, nothing to brag about. I really liked that the meat on the fajitas was cut in small pieces.

The food at Casa Fiesta was full of flavor and tasted fresh. We were in town just for the day and looking for dinner when we found this restaurant. It was one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever eaten at. I liked everything I tried, but would especially recommend the pazole. I don’t get to Frankfort often, but next time I am in the area I will be returning to Casa Fiesta.
