Very casual. We were seated right away. No waiting. Service was prompt. Short wait until meal was served. But…the meal was not up to par as it was several years ago. My husband had Camaron Al Mojo De Ajo and I had Huevos Rancheros. The garlic was chopped up and served over shrimp in bowl served on top of plate. The Ranchero sauce for the eggs was a bit tangy and had only 2 tiny pieces of bell pepper. The Ranchero sauce lacked. The coffee was very good. See pics. Food 2 stars. Service 4 stars. Atmosphere 4 stars.

My dad was craving seafood so we stopped by and I was definitely happy with the food and excellent customer service. We were a large table and every single item ordered came exactly how we ordered it and it a timely manner. We sat far from most tables but the ambiance was very family oriented and chill. The waitress was amazing and kept checking up on us if we were still doing ok…the food was very fresh and we even ordered dessert here…I recommended this place for anyone that likes real authentic Mexican food. Also they have a buffet we all order single items but for those with a big appetite a great option:)

Very pleasant ambience. Great service. Have been bringing my “kids” for their awesome “Chocomil”.. I ordered Carne asada Tampiqueńa plate and was so disappointed that they don’t serve it here with an enchilada which in a Tampiqueńa the enchilada is always included. But when I dug in the carne asada I was so pleasantly surprised at the delicious flavor and mostly great quality of this steak. Perfectly done and seasoned. I totally and immediately forgot about the enchilada. I was so enthralled with that dish, I woke up wanting it again. Went to a La Poblana restaurant closer to home and ordered same Tampiqueńa plate. When it came it had great presentation and with the mandatory enchilada. But oh disappointment when I cut into the asada cut: super tough and hard to chew. Obviously a much lesser and cheaper or beef grade and way more expensive plate. Will continue coming here to Casa Jiménez.

So happy to get back to this restaurant!EVERYTHING was fresh and delicious. Excellent and friendly service as usual. I missed eating here. The price went up on the AYCE special and a choice or two was removed from the list (carnitas for one) but it’s STILL a great meal DEAL!

Just renovated we made it out for some brunch! And being one of the only Jimenez that still offers the buffet plate we were there. The prize went up some but it’s worth it! The portions are big you can’t go passed the second plate , the albondigas were a little under seasoned but nothing some table salt didn’t fix , our waitress was a doll and very attentive!
