Wonderful food and service. Atmosphere was a 5, great bar and decor, but inside tables were very close together and was a little noisy. Couldn’t hear people across the table. Food, easily made up for it. The veal scallopini was cut with a fork tender, and the sauce was perfect. Risotto was excellent. All around, it’s worth every penny. Make sure you make reservations.

I love Italian food. The place is beautiful and cozy, when I arrived my first thought was when would I go back there again, but when I tried the gnocchi it wasn’t soft, their carbonara was spicy and didn’t seem to have bacon, the prosciutto tortellini was just the sauce that was good and I didn’t even taste like prosciutto. The price is high, maybe I will not come back.

Doesn’t get better than L’Acqua for an excellent, quiet meal. I ordered the chicken Matteo as usual and my wife ordered the shrimp risotto. The best chicken dish I’ve ever had. A beautiful respite from the hectic vibe of ‘the ave” Service is crazy over the top, a very well run establishment

Fantastic dinner. Appetizers were amazing. Great service. My wife dropped her napkin. Within seconds a new one arrived without even asking. The risotto was so flavorful I could have ordered it twice. The veal chop is definitely a great choice. Tender and moist with just enough truffle on top to give it a twist from the ordinary veal chop.

Been to Casa L’Aqua 3x during my visit to Delray. It’s an upscale Italian restaurant with a homey and romantic setting. The food & service is phenomenal. Ceci, the waitress gave us some wonderful suggestions. She was very helpful and modified several dishes to be gluten-free & dairy free. I was very pleased that the food was still delicious after the modifications. The langostino was cooked to perfection without being overdone. The branzino was juicy and fresh. The veal scallopini with mushrooms was tender, flavorful and saucy. For dessert, the flourless cake was finger licking good and I did lick my fingers. Make sure you give this place a chance. It’s tucked away on a side street so don’t miss it. Make sure you ask for Cecilia/Ceci. She is so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful.

Literally one of the best Italian restaurants in Flordia in my opinion. Coming from New York it’s so hard to find good Italian food! I found my hidden gem right in Delray Beach.

Don’t even know where to begin. The place looks pretty pretentious trying to pass as a high-end restaurant, with prices to match. But the devil is in the details. The execution was definitely not smooth, with a lot of hiccups. The wait for food was 1.5 hours, which is a sign of an understaffed kitchen. One dish was forgotten somewhere in the pipeline. Some dishes were delicious, some were just okay. Risotto had such a nasty smell that we had to send it back. The special of the night was quoted as $69 but appeared on the bill as $89. Water was never refilled, I had to go grab the pitcher and pour it myself to everyone at the table. So, I guess, it goes through some growing pains, but the 1.5 hour wait for food is unacceptable.

One of the best Italian restaurants I’ve been too generally speaking. Being a New Yorker, Italian food is harshly judged. After visiting some of the most authentic Italian restaurants there are, this one really gives them a run for the money. Beautiful indoor, outdoor and ventilated outdoor patio. We sat outside in the patio section and it was 90 degrees outside and it was very comfortable out there still. Everything was fresh, great size portions, that were full of flavor. Nothing needed anything added to it, came out very hot, and was satisfying to the very last bite. Staff was knowledgeable, accommodating and attentive. Highly recommend this slightly off ave, hidden Delray Beach restaurant to anyone looking for a true experience
